UpgradeCore Allows you to upgrade your weapons, armor, on the highest the upgrade highest the damage, which is configurable. A simple plugin that adds some Role Playing and some more items to die for! You get these items from configurable mobs.

How to Install

It is super easy to install just paste the jar into your plugins folder, start the server and wait for the config to generate, after it setup the config to your liking and it's done!

How to Play / Use

The plugin is very simple. There are 3 kinds of UpgradeCores that drop out of mobs which are Configurable:

LOW
MEDIUM
HIGH

An UC.LOW allows you to use it on Wooden and Stone types.
An UC.MEDIUM allows you to use it on Iron and Gold types.
An UC.HIGH allows you to use it on Diamind type.

To use an item you open your inventory and right-click the upgrade, then it shall input on your chat that you are using and then you open your inventory again and right-click the item to upgrade it. If the item is succefull in it's upgrade it shall say you have upgrade it otherwise it shall say that you have failed the upgrade.

To Cancel an upgrade you just right-click an empty slot while in upgrade.

IMPORTANT

You can only upgrade Chestplate Armor for the moment being, adding the rest after sorting the rating of the defense

Commands

/getcore <low,medium,high> - Gives you an UpgradeCore.

Permissions

core.get: Allows you to use the /getcore command
core.drop.low: Drops UpgradeCores LOW
core.drop.medium: Drops UpgradeCores MEDIUM
core.drop.high: Drops UpgradeCores HIGH
core.use.low: Allows you to use UpgradeCores LOW
core.use.medium: Allows you to use UpgradeCores MEDIUM
core.use.high: Allows you to use UpgradeCores HIGH

#The Defense it add through each tier. Only version  0.5 and above

Remember This plugins is new, so bugs are to be expected, if any submit a ticket or post a comment.

Metrics

This plugin utilises Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:

A unique identifier
The server's version of Java
Whether the server is in offline or online mode
The plugin's version
The server's version
The OS version/name and architecture
The core count for the CPU
The number of players online
The Metrics version

Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true.

Is this still a thing or fixed already??

Would be awesome if we could use it on ANY armor now :)

Can you add +7,+8,+9 in next version ? I think, +6 isn't enough but this is still very good plugin.

Thank you very much. And let me update my last post. The upgrade cores high do work on diamond armor. But the medium and low do not work on the iron and leather armor. to be sure though I will test every armor piece and weapon.

i am using your plugin on my 1.8.1 spigot server and it lets me use the plugin, lets me get the cores as well as activate them but it doesnt upgrade the items. i tried with all cores and what they work for and nothing. i really like this because of the chance drop from mobs but they dont seem to upgrade anything. also i do get the messages in chat other than the success of it upgrading.

I would not work the plugin. When I have the core upgrade in hand, I hit the right mouse button and it did not appear any message to make the upgrade =(

I have the 1.7.9 version of Bukkit.

@BugsyFTW Heyho,

Would it be possible to make this plugin compatible with ItemLoreStats, so that it upgrades a Item with 10 Damage to a Item with (10 Damage +10% damage) 11 Damage.

Definitely giving this plugin a try, I miss my Cabal Private server back in the day. Been testing this for a while aginst the plugins I'm running.

Things I would love to see:

Ability in configs to turn off the mob droping part of the plugin as it also conflicts with other mob drop plugins.
Ability to add cores to lore items. Specifically "Item Lore Stats"
Repair Cores: put a core on your weapon to repair its durability.
Allow us to setup enchanting past +6. would be nice if I could do "You can + your items to +20!"
With my current setup: players cannot enchant weapons. if possible, after enchanting to +6 can you add the enchanted glowing effectto that +6 item?
