"hitBy" (car->mob collison) currently doesn't affect passive/neutral mobs.
For a more realistic effect, that feature could be implemented as a toggable option in the config alongside "enableMonsterDamage" as e.g. "enableFriendlyMonsterDamage".
This way, any living thing that gets hit by a car will receive damage.

The hitBy update works as intended: All mobs can now be hit by a car.
It doesn't seem possible to disable the hitBy message for when players get hit, though, but that's another thing :)
