TwitterBoard
Display the latest tweet from any user on Twitter, such as your server’s official updates, in your minecraft world. The latest tweet will occupy at most 3 signs, thanks to twitter’s 140 characters limitation.
Immediately after setting the sign, nothing will happen. But when a redstone signal hit the sign, at most three signs will appear below and display the recent tweet. Redstone isn't just the way to generate the twitter board for the first time, it is also the mechanism that updates it. So if you want to refresh the board, just apply redstone again!
The easiest way to input a redstone signal to the sign is to add a button right next to the sign.
Installation
To install the plugin, follow the instructions on the Installation Page.Basic Usage
Once the plugin is properly installed, you can start building twitter boards! To experiment with a simple twitter board, build a wall that is 4 blocks high. Then, place a sign on the highest block and enter the following two lines:
[Twitter]
user-name
For example, if you like players to see the recent tweet posted by Katy Perry, you need to enter:
[Twitter]
katyperry
It is important to specify the username (katyperry) and not the display name (Katy Perry). Just like in the address of her twitter page: https://twitter.com/katyperry.

Using colors
You may specify the color of each Twitter Board as the 3rd line on the sign, like so:
[Twitter]
katyperry
&1
Note that color codes will take up space on the signs that show the tweet, even though they are invisible. When using color codes, you might need to add an extra sign for the entire tweet to appear. You may specify a default color code in the configuration file of the plugin. Note that you can change the color code character in the config file. This is useful if you run into conflicts between plugins.
@eyalzh
It says im missing my consumer keys and access tokens... but i put them in :/ is there a way i can send you the file?
@Gnarrsy
Try "/twitterboard checkconfig". What do you get?
For some reason, it isnt working :/ i set up the application, entered it all in the config where it was supposed to go, put down a sign on a 4 block high wall saying [Twitter] <return> Gnarrsy and gave it a redstone signal. Nothing :/
@Stuartie_h_94
zombiekiller221, when I clicked on this that's what I thought it was :P
Future Twitter Plugin Im Working On:
[Twitter] [Twitter username] tweets: [tweet]
My Code So Far:
<twitter>
<head>
<body>
<close>
<twitter.jar>
<config>
<autorefresh.dat>
</head>
PS you will also be able to configure it to be facebook posts and it will say [Facebook] [username] says: [message]
NOTE: Picture/video media will NOT be included. If you want help visit www.coolcamtv.webs.com
</head>
</html>
Seems like a good idea! But maybe in the future you could have it that you can also display the tweets through game chat like [Twitter] @katyperry tweeted: <message> just an option, so that people could decide if they would rather use signs or chat :)
Download?
Very neat!
@hybridphreak85
True but it would be a nice option having configurable auto refresh time in config. It would also allow to use just a wall without redstone.
@USM666
I beleive the idea is to not auto update as it would add unneeded strain on the server, consider using the redstone and maybe a pressure plate so when a player goes towards the sign, they update it before reading it.
eyalzh - Looks an amazing idea, will be looking forward to testing it out :P
Nice job! This is a great plugin!
This needs to have some color tags like &4 and &l because plain black sucks and also it should autoupdate itself.
This looks like a really awesome plugin and looks like it would be very useful for advertising my server's Twitter. Definitely excited about this releasing!
Awesome!
