Updating from version 7.x ?

If you want to keep your old chests.
Install 8.0 beta and execute /tchest convert (must be OP)
After that, install the latest version!

Version 8.3.6

  • Treasure chests will now accept signed and unsigned books.

Version 8.3.5

  • Changed rank system. New ranks can now be added in the config.yml file!
Then, use command /tchest rank add X
And give players a rank using permission treasurechest.rank.X
Replace X with whatever rank you configured.

If a treasure has no added ranks, you don't need a special permission to access it.

You still always require permission treasurechest.access.treasure and/or treasurechest.access.unlimited

Version 8.3.4

  • Better fix for last issue
  • Snow on the ground etc, will no longer be in the way, when using commands like /tchest set
  • Now allows %player% variable in commands of command rewards!

Version 8.3.3

  • Fixed issue, where Treasure Chests could be opened,
even if they were blocked by the block above.

Version 8.3.2

  • Added potion reward
  • Added command reward

Version 8.3.1

  • Added teleport reward

Version 8.3

  • Added rank feature
    • Give players/groups one of these permissions:
      • none of the below (default)
      • treasurechest.rank.member
      • treasurechest.rank.admin
    • Then, set a rank to a tchest, using command /tchest setrank

Version 8.2.1

  • Fixed possible error, when Vault is not installed.
  • Added cool rewards:
    • redstone
    • restore
    • explosion
    • broadcast
    • bankrobber

Version 8.2

  • Added fly reward
  • Added the reload command again
  • Fixed list-all and count commands
  • Fixed reward types: health, food, air. They now require a percentage 1-100 instead of unpredictable numbers

New features

Updating treasures

When you want to update a Treasure,

  1. Rightclick a Treasure with a Chest in your hand
  2. The normal inventory will open (instead of the "fake inventory")
  3. Change the items
  4. Use command /tchest set like normally

So the trick is to open the treasure with a chest in your hand.

You can now reward players money or experience via a Treasure Chest!

The money feature requires Vault and some economy plugin, like iConomy.
The plugin works fine without the money feature.

To add "rewards", type /tchest reward add
It will show you the way.
For more reward-commands, type /tchest reward ?
