tpAnimals
For as long as I can remember, I've always wanted the ability to easily and simply teleport animals between my friends and myself. With the 1.6 horses update out, I couldn't have thought of a better time to start developing this plugin. tpAnimals will let you easily teleport living animals (not spawn eggs) to other players on the server.
Initially I had intended to release this privately for my server NXTCRAFT, but I feel a lot of other servers could benefit from tpAnimals, so I released the project publicly on BukkitDev. :)
tpAnimals uses Plugin Metrics to collect anonymous data on how you use the plugin so we can improve in future features. The data is all publicly viewable at http://mcstats.org/plugin/tpAnimals and can be simply disabled from the Plugin Metrics configuration file.
Usage Scenarios
- Create a farm and sell your stock to other players.
- Teleport your pets to your friend's house.
- Go exploring and easily send the animals you find back to your city.
Commands and Permissions
/tpAnimals - shows all commands.
/tpAnimals version [tpanimals.getlatestversion] - Shows you the current version of the plugin, and get the latest if the player has permission.
/tpAnimals update [tpanimals.update] - Shows you the current version of the plugin, and get the latest if the player has permission.
/tpAnimals send <PlayerName> [tpanimals.send, tpanimals,sendToSelf, tpanimals.bypassCooldown] - Send your selected animal to a player.
/tpAnimals sendhome <EssentialsHomeName> [tpanimals.sendHome] - Send your selected animal to one of your Essential's homes.
To select an entity, hold sneak then right click a animal.
tpAnimals v1.3 introduced many more configuration options and permission nodes. Until this main page gets updated, look at the changelogs on the files page. :)
Planned Features
- Configurable messages.
- Play a sound or effect when you send/receive an animal.

I've just tested tpAnimals v1.4 with AnimalSelector v0.2 on Bukkit 1.7.9-R0.2 and everything works fine.
Could you two explain a little about what isn't working?

Posted Jul 14, 20141.8 is supposed to come out soon, and it's been about 8 months since 1.7 came out... I'd really like to use this on my server, even if it is just a 1.7 update.

Do you have the required dependency (AnimalSelector) installed?

If you're trying to access a horses's inventory/chest, you don't need to hold shift down. This plugin shouldn't interfere with anything.

Posted Aug 20, 2013@nxtguy, trying to use this in addition to Animal Lock with Animal Selector. All seems fine but wondering how to click into horse, mule now to change armor, inventory etc.
I think I used to use sneak while right clicking to access this feature. Is there a work around that I am missing?

By default tpAnimals only allows you to send friendly mobs. (To prevent players sending creepers to each other.) However you can enable players to send hostile mobs in the configuration file.
tpAnimals alone doesn't have any feature of limiting sending to only your animals, (As it doesn't know who's animals are who's) but if you download AnimalLock you can block players from sending animals locked by other players.

Posted Aug 6, 2013What about a feature where the person that someone is sending the animal to has to type /tpanimals accept and it gives them a message on what animals they are recieving. This way various trolls can not just spam send chickens/cows/etc to players on the server and cause a lot of grief. And also a /tpanimals fhome (faction home) feature? I don't know those were just 2 things I would need on my server for this plugin. Keep up the good work, great plugin.
