TotalEvents

This plugin will give server moderators the tools to create scripted events in Minecraft. For role play servers this is a must have for organised role play events.

History

TotalEvents was first included inside TotalQuest as part of that plugin. After the decision has been made to rewrite TotalQuest I decided that it would benefit both projects to separate them and release them apart from each other. That way I can focus on one specific project at a time.

What can it do?

Here are some things of what you can do inside a scripted event. As the plugin is modular in design developers can create their own new events easily.

• Spawn buildings
• Backup/restore pieces of the world
• Place blocks
• Spawn items
• Spawn mobs
• Play sounds (only those supported by Bukkit/Minecraft)
• Teleport player
• Special effects

Just create a scripted event and start it!

Here are some written out scripts as examples of what you can do with TotalEvents. Everything in the lists will be done by the plugin!

Creeper party

So you want a creeper party for you whole server?

1. Broadcast message that the Creeper party is going to start
2. Backup a specific part of the world
3. Teleport all players to a specific location
4. Play the music disc Cat and repeat it
5. Spawn 10 creepers every 5 seconds for 10 minutes long
6. Broadcast message that Creeper party has been ended
7. Teleport players to back to where they came from
8. Restore the backup part of the world

Minecraft rave party

So you've created a big coliseum but no one comes to see it?

1. Broadcast message within a radius of 200 blocks around the coliseum that your hosting a rave party
2. Start music disc Cat
3. When done playing start music disc 13
4. etcetera
5. Broadcast message that the rave party has ended
