Town of Salem minigame

How it works

• A survival world with a world border of 1000, centered on 0, 0, 0 is created
• Town, Mafia and Vampires fight it out
• Day phases last 2 minutes
• Night phases last 5 minutes
• During day, PvP is disabled
• During day, players vote away one person
• Players can always be killed by regular Minecraft death causes like mobs and drowning
• Players can always whisper to each other. The other players can see that they whisper, but not what they whisper
• Dead players are put in Spectator mode and have a private chat with each other

Town

• During night, Town can't talk
• During night, Town fights with other players, including other Town members, to get rid of the Mafia and Vampires

Mafia

• The Mafia knows who the other Mafia members are
• This is displayed in a sidebar, and Mafia members see a Mafia prefix when one of them says something, whether it's at day or at night
• During night, Mafia have a chat with Mafia only
• During night, Mafia fights with other players, to get rid of the Town and Vampires

Vampires

• The Vampires knows who the other Vampires are
• This is displayed in a sidebar, and Vampires see a Vampire prefix when one of them says something, whether it's at day or at night
• During night, Vampires have a chat with Vampires only
• During night, Vampires can bite players by punching them, making the target a Vampire as well
• During night, Vampires gain Speed and Jump Boost
• Vampires are weak to wooden swords

Commands

Admin commands

• /force - Starts a forced game (Added for debugging purposes)
• /addplayer <username> - Adds a player to the list for the next game you force (Added for debugging purposes)
• /removeplayer <username> - Removes a player from the list for the next game you force (Added for debugging purposes)

General commands

• /vote <username> - Votes away a player
• /whisper <username> <message> - Sends a private message to a player
• /join - Join a lobby
• /ready - Used in the lobby, when all players are ready the game starts
