To use Metadata couldn't be any easier! All you need to do is in your shop file, set your ItemID to something like 35:5, which is Lime Wool. Here is how it would look in a shop file.

Slot0:
    ItemID: '35:5'
    ItemAMT: 1
    TokenCost: 0
    GiveItem: true

Of course there is minimal variables on this wool, but it is just an example.
