The New Economy
The New Economy
If you're looking for a lightweight economy plugin download The New Economy Lite.
Please Note: This project is in Alpha stage, and may therefore contain multiple bugs. Please report any bugs you find.
About
The New Economy was originally a hMod Plugin made by Noobaholic. After reading multiple requests on the Bukkit Forums for the plugin, which Noobaholic replied that he was too busy at the moment to port it to Bukkit, I decided to port it to Bukkit. The New Economy is a feature-packed economy plugin that is currently still under heavy development. I hope to provide a visual data editor for TNE flat file saves soon.

We now have a discord server for support, feature requests, and just general chilling out. Find it here: https://discord.gg/WNdwzpy.
TNE Alpha 5.1 "Extensibility Update" has been released. With this comes major improvements to overall stability and efficiency. Also, now would be a good time to announce TNE now has a discord server: https://discord.gg/WNdwzpy.
neat plugin
New Release https://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/tne/files/10-alpha-3-1/ This enabled you to disable the /pin feature as forcing it on everyone probably wasn't the best solution. It Also allows almost every configuration to be seton a per-world and per-player basis.
@JTEBEZEKONAR
/pin set <pin> <confirm pin> [old pin]
./pin set and what after that ?
Alpha 2.1
Hello everyone,
The New Economy Alpha 2.1 has just been uploaded, and includes the features as talked about in my previous comment. Furthermore, Vault integration and UUID support were a giant leap for the plugin(at least for its lifespan on bukkit), and will(hopefully) guide it into the near future with ease. TNE updates will probably start being more regular as I'm not as busy(still busy though).
Brief Update
Hello everyone,
Recently it has come to my attention(sub consciously I already knew this) that The New Economy is in dire need of Vault support. In light of this, and the fact someone finally got me to stop being lazy, Alpha 2.1 will be released either later today or tomorrow(I was going to release it yesterday or today, but I forgot about adding UUID support). Alpha 2.1 will include Vault, Plugin Metrics, UUID and Minecraft 1.8.6 support(along with a few minor changes that might have slipped my mind). I didn't want to beef up this update since it'll be more of a transitional release to move save data over to using UUIDs.
Yours Truely,
Daniel V. aka creatorfromhell
EDIT: TNE will probably be moving over to Spigot website shortly too.
Future of TNE
Hello everyone,
Today I'd like to discuss the future of The New Economy plugin. I've been debating writing this for some time now, but now's as good of a time as any. Alpha 2.1 could be the last release of TNE unless I somehow get help with development as I'm getting busier with school work and projects beyond Minecraft. My time is just too spread out to continue dragging through updates, which is also impacting the quality of code I'm producing for TNE. When I first started this project I set my standards for code quality and told myself that if I couldn't keep that quality then I'd stop working on it, because it's not fair to release poor quality work to the Bukkit Community. For this reason, I'm looking for someone who has Java knowledge and can help with The New Economy development. If you would like to help this project succeed please add me on skype(creatorfromhell) or shoot me an email([email protected]).
Release Coming
Please note that The New Economy is still in Alpha and you should always backup your database information.
Hello everyone, The New Economy is back from a lengthy hiatus as I've been busy with other projects and school work. I'll be pushing TNE releases more often now though. This is some information about the upcoming release.
Alpha 1.1
- TNE API
- Custom TNE Events
- Vault support
- Update Checking
- Metrics Support
- Better In-game administration
Release Date: TBA(Due to recent DMCA)
@Matt19901
Vault support will be added shortly. I went on a temporary hiatus to work on some other projects and my school work. Also, every feature will be optional as it is added.
@Matt19901
Oh and can you get this to work with Vault since towny wont work without an econ
Any change you can have an area in you config when you add more feature an option to disable and enable them?
Attention everyone. The New Economy Alpha 2.0 has been released. There are two versions for this release. One version allows 1.5 support(removal of the horse for mob rewards and name tag checking) and the second version is for 1.6+(minus 1.7.9). If you find any bugs or have any issues please post a comment or contact me. Thanks for using The New Economy and have a great day.
Sincerely, creatorfromhell
Information regarding TNE Alpha 2.0a and 1.7.9 Updates
Hello everyone, As many of you may know, Minecraft 1.7.9 allows Mojang to enable the ability to have username changing(please see their site for more information). Due to usernames being able to be changed, plugins that use the player's username to save information about them(such as The New Economy) will be outdated and required(not required, but information wouldn't be able to be saved if the user changed their name) to use Player UUIDs instead of usernames. Now that I have that out of the way, I'll get to the importance of this post.
Will TNE Alpha 2.0 work for 1.7.9?
The short answer to this is no. I will be releasing TNE Alpha 2.0 for builds under 1.7.9. However, some time after TNE Alpha 2.0 I'll be working on an update build, which will be updated for 1.7.9. I decided to do it this way, because not everyone will be updating to 1.7.9 immediately, and this way people who haven't updated to 1.7.9 immediately will have the new(and needed) features in TNE Alpha 2.0.
When will TNE Alpha 2.0 be ready?
I am currently looking for people who are willing to test TNE Alpha 2.0 before I release it. If you would like to test the pre-release of TNE Alpha 2.0 for bugs, please contact me on skype, via email or reply to this comment.
What has changed in TNE Alpha 2.0?
