Overview
Overview
TitanChat is a chat management and formatting plugin, its high flexibility is what makes it special. Instead of having a large bulk of hardcoded supports for other plugins, an addon system was implemented so that addons, custom channels and external commands can be coded to support other plugins and add new features. The built in commands in TitanChat help make your chat management task easier. Channels can also be disabled to have your old global Minecraft chat, but giving you more control over chat.

Currently busy with school, but v5.0.0 is still being worked on.
12.08.13
12.08.13
TitanChat v4.1.0 will be the latest until the rewrite is completed to release v5.0.0. This rewrite is started due to the messiness of adding new features and functions, even though v4.0 should have improved it a lot. This should not be an impact to users since this is not a usage change, although the command system will be overhauled to become easier to understand. Sorry in advance for the lack of releases for the time being, and thank you in advance for your understanding.

@thydemented
Hmmm... Haven't seen this issue before, will have to check it myself, thanks for the configs, I'll use those to test. Sorry for the inconvenience.
EDIT: And it works.
Hey Nodin, I need a little bit of help here please...
I'm reconfiguring my server, and replacing ColorMe with TitanChat (because I'm getting permissions), but after spending a few hours setting up the permissions for the default Member and TitanChat, whenever I login (and set my rank to Member), I see this when I talk in game, "%prefixThydemented: blahblah"
It is supposed to be [M]Thydemented. In both permissions and TitanChat config I have it set to that. "- TitanChat.g.prefix.[&fM&f]"
thanks in advance!

Again, thanks for any help that may come!
@Xeliya
@IPodTouch3x3
Please paste me your configs, I have no idea if it's an error on my side or a mistake on yours. Please also provide a stack trace on Pastebin and link it in your comment. Thank you.
@JavaChips
He said it's showing prefix TWICE, not that he doesn't want a prefix. Thank you for answering while I'm gone anyway.
@Xeliya
In the main config file look for the lines that read:
formatting:<br> use-built-in: true<br> format: "%tag %prefix%player&r%suffix: %message"
Where you see
format: "%tag %prefix%player&r%suffix: %message" Remove the "%prefix"
the faction addon isnt working !
Hey I use PermissionsEx for prefixes but when this plugin is enabled it displays the prefix twice, simply one after another I was wondering why and if I did anything wrong.
@Schlumpf9
Yeah, to not spam console with errors, I replaced the entire error with a single line, thanks for telling me. :)
@NodinChan Thank you, now it works!
But I found this some lines above:
@Schlumpf9
It should be in the plugins folder.
@NodinChan
Hi, I have to put it into the lib folder or? If I do this I still get this error.
I am using CB 1.2.5 R4.0
With the DEV Version before 3.6 #425 released I can't say the build sorry, it worked.
@Schlumpf9
Probably because it is unable to download the NC-BukkitLib, download it manually here.
Hello,
I am getting this error on the new ver:
@chrisironhawk
Recommended to use the commands to edit a channel or restart the server, reloading is still something I'm trying to fix. Sorry for the inconvenience. :(
@chrisironhawk
That is weird. Let me check.
Hi there...
I am trying to create and edit a channel called "Global". I created the channel alright, and I am able to join it, however whenever I try to change any settings within it, such as the tag and colors, and I reload the configs, it resets everything.
@dobbi10k
Hey,
I recently changed from HeroChat to TitanChat, because I needed its built-in prefix features, as I switched from PEX to zPermissions, which doesn't offer prefix/suffix support. Unfortunately, TitanChat doesn't do its job, the way it's supposed to. Changing the message formatting doesn't work at all and the prefixes/suffixes work neither, even though I'm positive I configured everything correctly...
Additionally, the chat - when displayed in the server console - is completely messed up and shows lots of question marks. I guess due to some exotic characters which are generated.
I look forward to your reply,
dobbi10k
P.S. I'm using the latest "stable" build (#407)
@Patolord
I thoroughly tested and the display name feature works, how about you?
@Schlumpf9
Can you try the last stable build?

Hello, I am getting this error, on startup with new RB4.0:
Had before a message that NC-Loader is outdated and a new one was downloaded, maybe because of this there something wrong!
