Overview
Overview
TitanChat is a chat management and formatting plugin, its high flexibility is what makes it special. Instead of having a large bulk of hardcoded supports for other plugins, an addon system was implemented so that addons, custom channels and external commands can be coded to support other plugins and add new features. The built in commands in TitanChat help make your chat management task easier. Channels can also be disabled to have your old global Minecraft chat, but giving you more control over chat.

Currently busy with school, but v5.0.0 is still being worked on.
12.08.13
12.08.13
TitanChat v4.1.0 will be the latest until the rewrite is completed to release v5.0.0. This rewrite is started due to the messiness of adding new features and functions, even though v4.0 should have improved it a lot. This should not be an impact to users since this is not a usage change, although the command system will be overhauled to become easier to understand. Sorry in advance for the lack of releases for the time being, and thank you in advance for your understanding.

@drumming102
Permission should be removed when you do /tc unfollow [channel] on the latest build, try it out. :)
/tc create [channel] will be fixed soon. :)
Nah it's ok. Nod the perm thing is great the way it is.
Great to hear about towny looking forward to it.
Did you try creating 2 channel 1 right after another? that;s when it broke. and it never made a .yml for the channel.
@drumming102
We tested the Channel creation command and it worked. ._.
And the Towny Addon will be updated soon, I removed the links because they're not updated.
Unfollowing a channel while having the follow permission would have to require me to remove the permission from the permission plugin, but yeah, I can do that.
Found a bug. Channel creation in game is broke. can;t seem to mak em with commands.
Also are we able to use towny tags or pre/post fixes with this?
I'd hate to run towny chat and this just to get the TC tags to show up from nations and Such
the follow node works PERFECTLY. I just wish you could unfollow the chan. Like each time you log in you followed it but your COULD unfollow it but that;s just a nit picky thing. It's working great
@drumming102
The OP thing will be fixed soon if I can. But right now, I'll get a release out after you tested the node is okay. :)
@drumming102
"TitanChat.follow.[channel]" without the brackets and quotes
and what the the perm node for the force follow? i don;t see it.
Will test the force join this weekend but the only thing right off the bat I see is
after a server restart/plugin reload the OP's default to the fist channel yml file listed in the channels folder. EVERY TIME>
Reload is fixed and works great though.
and what the the perm node for the force follow? i don;t see it.
@drumming102
It should be in.
I'm not gonna try the next build yet. Will once you get that perm in. So far the only bug I see is that after a server restart/plugin reload the OP's default to the fist channel yml file listed in the channels folder. EVERY TIME> annoying but not game breaking
@drumming102
Yes, I'll get that in ASAP.
Also, I wonder if /tc reload is fixed in the latest build on Jenkins.
have a chance to look at that auto follow perm yet? Working great in 1.2.4 so far.
Awesome man thx.
@drumming102
Yeah, I'll have to fix /tc reload.
You can set a channel to global in its config, but the whole server can see it. I will add a new permission that makes the player with the permission follow the channel. But not today, got an exam. :)
@drumming102
They are the channel admin by default if they created it. There's is no permission restricting players from talking.
SUCESS!
Ok #258 is working great but the /tc reload command BREAK EVERYTHING btu I'm ok with doing restarts for the few config changes we make.
One more question. Anyway to make an entire GROUP follow a channel by adding them manually to the follow? Something like - g:default added to the follow list?
We have noobs we want to be able to SEE general chat by default but not talk in. How would we go about that?
@NodinChan
Ok I get the but in theory without TitanChat.access.* they could create a channel but not be allowed to talk in it untill they are given the channel specific permission or am I wrong in my thinking
And which is the # of the jenkins you want me to use as "use the latest" can sometimes not be a good statement to say. :-p
@drumming102
Note that TitanChat.access.[channel] is a bypass node. As in, it bypasses blacklists and whitelists. So players with that node can access channels no matter what, except for password channels and staff channels.
@TankNast
You have heck of a skill turning my two simple lines into an entire statement. XD
By the way, users, Jenkins can be found here.
