Important notice about Minecraft 1.7

Terrain Control always tried to make sure old configs still produce similar terrain on modern versions of Terrain Control. Trees could generate on a different spot, but there wouldn't be an ugly border between old and new terrain.

For Minecraft 1.7 we have tried to do the same. However, you'll most likely need to do a few changes to your world. Before you upgrade to Minecraft 1.7, please read this wiki page. If you have any questions, please create a thread in the forums.

Most of the new biomes still need correct settings - they currently have very simple settings. The biome generator hasn't been updated yet at all, so unless you change the settings or use BiomeMode:Default the new biomes won't appear at all.

This file will only work on CraftBukkit 1.7.2. At the time of writing there wasn't an 1.7 compatible build of Minecraft Forge out yet.

  • Updated to Minecraft 1.7.2.
  • Added simple config files for all new biomes. Most of them are still unfinished. However:
  •    Birch Forest and Savanna (variants of both biomes included) are finished.
  •    The height and temperature settings of all biomes are correct too.
  • WorldHeightBits has been split into two settings - one to set the height limit of the world, one to set the vertical scale.
  • Updated snow generation to match Minecraft 1.7.2.
  • The resources Plant and Grass now accept plant names that make it easy to spawn single and double plants.
  • Added more settings to BiomeMode:FromImage for a rotated or mirrored image.
  • Improved the warning when two biomes have the same id.
  • Added a warning for BiomeMode:FromImage when two biomes have the same BiomeColor.
  • This file only supports Minecraft 1.7.2.
