Map Creation Tutorial: Part 5

Now go to your global lobby. This is where players can join a map, view the lobby board for information on different maps, etc, and is where players are taken to when the game ends on a map. First, set the spawn for your global lobby with:

/tf2 set spawn lobby

Now all you need to do is setup your lobby board. To do this, make a blank row of signs. There must be at least 4 signs in the row, plus the amount of capture points that map has. For example, if you have two capture points, it would be 4 + 2. So you would need a total of 6 signs in a row. Destroy the first sign in the row, and this time edit the text on it. Make the first line [TF2], the second line the word map, and the third line the name of the map you're making that lobby board for. The fourth line should be blank. If nothing happens after you create the sign, restart your server.

If all went well with the earlier steps of this tutorial, the signs should automatically change into a working lobbyboard, with the first sign giving players the ability to join a map. You can only have one row of signs per map. Here's an example of one with a total of 4 rows of signs, each belonging to a different map:

You're finished! Try to join a map.
