SwornGuns
SwornGuns adds guns to MineCraft! It allows you to take normal items and turn them into guns of any kind, whether it be a flamethrower, rocket launcher, sniper, or rifle! With SwornGuns, client-side mods are no longer required to have intense gun battles with friends. SwornGuns uses no mods and is completely spout-free.

Configuration
- A detailed configuration guide can be found here
- Compatible with PVPGunPlus gun configurations (legacy)
- Additionally, Minecraft's sound class documentation (used for customizable sounds with SwornGuns) can be found here. Also, there is a config option which allows for a gun to be reloaded when you tap the drop item key.
Change Effect Types
SwornGuns has an effect type option. The config format is:
- radius,time(ticks),effect
- radius,time(ticks),effect,datavalue
so for a molotov effect: play_effect_on_release=4,200,MOBSPAWNER_FLAMES
By default, SwornGuns comes with 4 grenade types (Grenade/flashbang/molotov/smokegrenade). Smoke grenade and Molotov (in their configurations) show examples of how to use the effect configuration. List of effects can be found here.

Permissions
This plugin should work with most major permissions plugins. If a gun NEEDS permission, the node for that gun is:
- swornguns.fire.[gunname lowercased]
Example:
- MAchiNeGUN = "swornguns.fire.machinegun"
- shotgun = "swornguns.fire.shotgun"

Bug Reporting
If you happen to find a bug, create a ticket following this template:
- Provide a DETAILED description of your problem and how it came about, as well as all (if any) steps taken to remedy the problem.
- Provide any RELEVANT stack traces or error logs (use pastebin or I will delete your ticket)
- Provide what version of SwornGuns and Bukkit/Spigot you are using (Please provide the full version string, found with /ua version and /version)
- Provide any other relevant information.
Before Reporting
- Check the Development Builds, often times your problems are already solved!
- Make sure you are running the latest Bukkit/Spigot build
Notes
- Support will not be given for any of the following: Offline Servers and Servers running ancient versions of either Bukkit/Spigot or Java.
- SwornGuns has been fully tested (as well as built with) with the latest builds of both Java and Bukkit.
Another suggestion. Possibly try making it so you can change the effect after explosions. By that I mean the fireworks after grenade explosions and stuff like that. Thx.
Dude, if you could add the option for block-breaking, fire-generating explosions, that'd make this plugin my absolute favourite, like ever.
(Then again you might be able to do this already, and I'm just making a fool out of myself. :P)

You need to add the 16x16 png pics of your bullets in your resource pack. At assets\minecraft\textures\items ..... and give the name of pic exactly the name of item you replace at the display position. xD
The resource pack doesn't make the ammo look like ammo. It stays the original texture pack where as the guns do change. Anyone know how people make it look like ammo and not minecraft items?
Hi, I was wondering if there is a way I can specify what extra damage a headshot will do? Also, on some guns servers, people can one shot sometimes and not others. Does that happen with that plugin? Basically, they don't always do the same damage and it varies based off of a percentage.
I tried this plugin, and I love it so far. I don't know how much longer the creator/creators will be continuing it, but I have some suggestions. Customizable delay on explosions such as grenades, gun attachments such as those in cod possibly, and maybe enable potion effects on grenades. Thx ahead of time.
Can someone tell me how to have multiple lines for the lore? Also when you need more bullets in chat it tells you, however I'd like the [SwornGuns] part to be editable too. One last question how do you remove the fireworks effect for example when throwing a grenade?

I love the plugin but I have a new feature for the config: PumpkinOnHead: true/false
This will give you a Pumpkin on your head if you zoom in.
This is good if you have a own texturepacks and you zoom in with a sniper.
And: ZoomLevel: [Amount]
To configure how much slowness you will get if you zoom

Hello, This plugin is so awesome and amazing great job. All I need to know why I get this error. Im using the latest version of swornguns. Normal players can only shoot 2 bullets when using this gun when ops can shoot 6. I want all the players to shoot 6.

when I use version2.2.2 for spigot1.7.9, the plugin can't load the "outOfAmmoMessage" what I changed, and it only use the default message.
I test the dev build, found since #179 has this problem.

Hi there, is there a way I can add an enchantment to the gun id. For example: Autoshotgun gunType: 351:11 silktouch:2
The reason is I would like to give permission to the players to use certain guns, but I can't have them crafting them.

I'm not sure, but it probably has to do with how Bukkit handles adventure mode and player interact.

Not yet, but it wouldn't be too difficult to add.
The guns don't really work in gamemode 2 unless you are jumping. Do you know why? (I'm using minecraft version 1.8.1)
