Sudo Plugin
Information
Run commands as other players! This plugin allows you to run commands as other players in-game based off of passwords instead of permissions. This is useful if you are the owner and you do not have direct access to your server's console, or if you get demoted by an abusing admin, you can re-rank yourself. If you find any problems, submit them to the ticket tracker.
Commands
/sudo <command> - Run a command as console
/sudo -u <player> <command> - Run a command
/passwd - (Ingame) Brings up prompts to change your password
/passwd <player> <password> - (Console) Change someone's password
Setup
This plugin will generate a folder at plugins/Sudo which contains sudoers.txt and passwords.yml. Passwords.yml is for the storage of encrypted passwords and does not need to be edited. sudoers.txt is a file that stores the list of people who can use /sudo. Just add a name into the file on a line. Do not add any extra characters on the line, including spaces, or it will not recognize the player.
This plugin uses Metrics to gather data. If you would like to opt-out, you may do so by editing plugins/PluginMetrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true. Metrics is available under their license.

Does it have UUID support yet?

but you can read the password input at the dynmap chat!!

@marubal21
Why would it need to be?
will this plugin be getting updated for 1.5+?
lol what admin doesn't set up their permissions to be able to op and re-rank themselves no matter what?
@hydro2k
It is setup to only remember your password while you are logged in. I just tested it and it seems to continue working correctly.
Is this working in later builds? I tried it for a day and it would never remember me (save the password)

This. This is exactly the plugin I want to exist.
@cmastudios
I would really appreciate it if you added this feature!
@ryguy147
I was looking for something like this too.
@ryguy147
Good idea, not my original thought for this plugin but sounds like a good feature to add.
Maybe the ability to run commands as another player...
