StopRain
Features
StopRain is an amazing plugin, it's very simple all it does is just stops the rain from falling. Some people lag when it rains and some just think it's annyoing, with this plugin you'll get rid of the rain lag and the annoyance of the rain. This plugin is very lightweight, which means it will not lag your server. There's no commands or permissions, so go ahead and enjoy !
Installation
- Drop the file in your plugins folder
- Reload/Restart
- You're done, no configuration or anything needed.

Notes
- This plugin uses MCStats, this means MCStats collects basic information about your server. (Learn more about MCStats here)

Not to insult anyone's coding skills, considering this is supposed to be a simple plugin, but basing the statement "Not very easy to find a mod like this these days!" on this plugin is a bit stupid, because literally every developer that knows how to listen for and cancel an event can make this. Again, not to say that he isn't a great coder, just this plugin isn't an accurate way to judge that.

This plugin cancels weather change events. Thus meaning it must not be raining when the plugin is enabled otherwise it will cancel rain stop events.

Posted Mar 10, 2014I installed this plugin, and it results in permanent rain that cannot be stopped with /toggledownfall or /weatherclear.
