You know pistons, arent you? If thats true, you should know sticky pistons to. Your right they are pulling a block ;)
Thats where sticky blocks come in. If you retract an piston next to an sticky block, this block will be pulled to this piston. If there is another block next to this sticky block, it will be pulled to.

How to use
- Right click a block with slime balls, to insert one of them.
- Left click a block with slime balls, to view if there is a slime ball inside

Cant believe the mod ive been looking for is long out of date
I sent the author a PM about updating the plugin or possibly releasing the source, but haven't received a reply
The license does not allow one to modify any obtained source without express permission from the developer, so I don't think this is ever going to be updated. :(
problem. I place a block on a pistion then place a nuther one make that one sticky. Ityrn the pistion on the blocks are pushed but when I make it retract the block I made sticky vanishes.
what version of MC is this for?
Can anyone please get the source to update this or somthing.. please.
This is an excellent plugin and such a good new use for slime!
I hope you can update this for 1.3 and 1.4 this has potential to do a lot of good for redstone contraoptions and big doors etc. for much simpler circuits and epic builds.
please test and update if possible!
Suggestions. - Work in config file for max push/pull blocks (Standard is 12 blocks) - see if you can stick items through the move? ie torches other stuff that gets pushed off. - add support for pushing unpushable blocks (configurable) (i know plugings already do this. but it would be nice to have it with this plugin or not up to you)
love this plugin, hope this gets updated for 1.3!
also if you can get it so it doesn't spam the console so often with saving sticky blocks
Would be nice if single player players could also use it So my question is, could you make it for single player too?
can i make gates like this with it ?: SPiston,SPiston,SPiston,SPiston,SPiston,SPiston,SPiston,Block,Block,Block,Block,Block,Block,Block,Block when first piston pull second one, secon pull third and so on and last pull all blocks ?
I tried it out, but for some reason the blocks were only sticky for one piston grab.
These are pretty fun to play with. I did notice a few things that might help make them more useful and interesting for builds.
First, and this may be a bug actually, when using two sticky pistons directly above each other facing the same direction with sticky blocks on them they lose sticky-ness :)
I basically replicated your example pictures but in a single column instead of staggered.
Second, I would really love this thing if the sticky blocks could transition from pistons. To get an idea of this try building a + out of sticky blocks then have pistons on two ends of the plus, toggle them back and fourth, in the end you'll likely have a single row of blocks but they are no longer sticky. Rather , the ones that were transferred are no longer sticky thereby breaking the whole chain of blocks from being useful.
It would be awesome if they still were sticky. I can build some sweet stuff with mechanics like that :)
@maldouck
I think its posible to make the block only sticky at one side. I will try to add this soon. I could may do something, that if you put 2 slimes on one block it will hold this sand/gravel blocks.
@ChrissWR1
I will think about the worldguard support, but in the next version, i will fix the data values and the sticky pistons ;)
I dont know if i will make the permissions in the next version, but I will try to do.

but, but .... BUT THIS IS AWESOME !!!
no seriously, your plugin is realy awesome the only thing I could think of to improve your plugin is, well permissions, but also a way to make only one side stiky (I know, this might be realy hard (maybe not even possible))
For me the 10x10 pistons doors oppening and closing without any block of sand !!
one more question, when the stiky bloc is over a sand block, does it prevent it from falling ?
Very cool idea.
I have only one feature wish: Could you combine it with WorldGuard? So that somebody could only create a sticky block, if she/he has the rights to build at the region?
And so a permission to create a sticky block would be nice, too.
First of all, GREAT plugin! It's fantastic!
Is there any chance at all of releasing the source? I've been trying to develop this exact functionality for about half a year now, but the results are always disappointing. I would be very interested to see how you managed to do this!
Thanks!
