StaffSign

StaffSign is a quick and dirty plugin which is pretty much purely informational.

It implements a way to show your users how many admins are online by displaying it on a sign with a customisable initialization command.

Instructions

• Download & install SQLibrary-6.1
• Download & install StaffSign
• Run server once to let plugins initialize stuff
• Configure StaffSign from the <server-root>/plugins/StaffSign folder
• Add ss.admin (or use /op) to relevant players to let the plugin recognize who's an administrator
• Add ss.canCreate (or use /op) to relevant players to let the plugin recognize who can place StaffSigns

How To

So StaffSign is pretty easy to use. Place a sign with the first liner being what you have defined in the config.yml file, and watch the sign turn into pure gold. No really, gold. Try it.

For now you'll have to right-click it in order for the sign to update and show you the most recent counter of admins online, but don't worry, I'll get to that later.

This plugin also uses Metrics to monitor usage. Just to make sure whether or not I'll keep this updated in the future. If one person is using it, that's enough for me to keep updating.

To Do

• Make plugin not rely on SQLibrary
• Automatically update all signs when an administrator logs in or out
