Description
Introducing SpearMod, a unique server mod that adds craftable spears into the game! Three different spears with unique abilities are easily fired by left clicking! Each spear has its own name and crafting recipe. No spout required, just a permissions plugin. Happy hunting!

- Arrows disappear when they hit the ground.
- Added command /givespear.
- /givespear options - lists spear types.
- /givespear (playername) {spearname} [quantity] <<< optional. Gives the player 1 or more spears.
- Player needs permission node "spearmod.give".
- Console can also perform this command and bypass the permission.
- Permissions added for each spear.
- Spearmod.(spearname) give the player access to throw that spear.
- Fires created by the fire spear no longer burn forever. They now burn for 10 seconds.

Spears
V1.0.0
- Normal spear: Deals 15 points of damage.
- Explosive spear: Deals 15 points of damage. Creates explosion.
- Fire spear: Deals 15 points of damage. Burns target/block.
V1.4.5
- Zeus Spear: Deals 30 points of damage. Creates explosion and strikes lightning.
- Tele Spear: Deals 10 points of damage. Switches player's and target player's locations. Also teleports player.
- Mob Spear: Deals 20 points of damage. Spawns a random monster, or if it kills the player will spawn a zombie.

- (Regular) Spear: Spearmod.spear
- Fire Spear: Spearmod.firespear
- Explosive Spear: Spearmod.explosivespear
- Zeus Spear: Spearmod.zeusspear
- Tele Spear: Spearmod.telespear
- Mob Spear: Spearmod.mobspear
How to Download
Click Download at the top right hand side of the screen. Look for the latest file, download it and then place in plugins folder. Simple! No messes!

Posted Aug 11, 2013Hello, I think spears are long overdo to be added to Minecraft, well your spears look really cool I do not believe the admins of the server I use would want spears that powerful or complicated on the server. I was wondering if a simpler type would be available? Specifically a wood-stone-iron-diamond-gold spear that may be left clicked as a melee weapon or right clicked and held till thrown like and arrow? A type of hybrid sword/bow but with one ranged use before it has to be picked up again. The enchants being placeable upon it would be sword and bow enchants of course. Thank you for your time.

Thanks for reading my suggestion! And I'm not sure but before (months ago) I used your spears mod and it very well. But for some reason it wont allow me to throw anymore. I have the latest download.
Also I'm a bit confused on the permission, if you have time can you reply to me with the exact permission i need to type in for using the spears.

For example something like this:
Zeus Spear - Damage: 30 - Strikes lightning: allow - Explosions: deny
Maybe something like that. I love the Zeus spear, but I don't really like how it destroys terrain :P

Posted Feb 10, 2013I'm having some issues with the plugin. The normal players can only do explosive spears. (op) can do explosive and mob. The rest just don't work at all. Any idea about this? Maybe a conflicting plugin?

Posted Feb 8, 2013There is a typo you made. if you want to get Zeus spear by command, it's named as 'zuesspear' instead of 'zeusspear'. Additionally, fire that Zeus spear creates, is eternal. It should be same as fire spear's fire I suppose with burning for only x seconds.

Posted Feb 3, 2013A bit too over powered. About 30 spears can kill a person in full diamond armor and considering you can throw 5 spears a second, with better accuracy than a bow, its a bit cheap... Please make the config ASAP! :)
