What steps will reproduce the problem?1. Step on a stone pressure plate to join a game.(I'm not 100% sure if this is whats causing it, but it seems like it is)
What is the expected output? What do you see instead? That there is no lag and that one of my cores doesn't spike up to 100%.
What version of the product are you using?1.1.1-m17
Do you have an error log of what happened? No errors
Please provide any additional information below.Server runs on a E3-1240v3
Thanks for reporting. Is this consistent behavior? What do you have islands-per-row set to? Could you try reducing this number to 10 (Would give you 100 games per island-world) and see if the lag spikes get better. This is not meant as a permanent solution, but rather a way to determine cause.

I haven't tested your suggestion yet, but I did find something. The lag spikes only happen when a new arena/game is created.
Alright I now have the islands per row set to 10, the problem is still occuring. I can now confirm that it ONLY happens when a new arena/game is created.
Any news?
Well, pasting a large schematic is a resource-intensive operation considering Minecraft/Bukkit is not multi-threaded. The build option will run asynchronous, but it's rather buggy, so I can't really recommend it as of now.
I'll look into what kind of optimizations that can be done, and I'm considering changing the build schematic behavior, perhaps adding a possibility to opt-out WorldEdit entirely. It'll take some work though

The schematics aren't very large, and it seems that other servers are not having the issue even though they are using the same schematics as me.

Alright, I believe I know what is causing this.
Will look into a fix ASAP.
