SkyblockOres
SkyblockOres
This plugin is made mainly for, but not limited to, Skyblock servers. The plugin will let you decide which blocks that should be generated when flowing lava touches flowing water, instead of Cobblestone.
I've seen similar plugins on Bukkit earlier, but all of them were buggy and outdated, had weird item rates, etc. So I decided to make my own one! This one has support for selecting the world you're using for islands, so you can basically try out the plugin on a different world before actually implementing the plugin to the Skyblock world.
This plugin will also allow you to define different rates for generating blocks, depending on what permission the player has. Important is that you make sure you define the permissiongroups with the lowest permissiongroup first. Only the LAST group that you ARE in will be used.
So what is this good for?
It's a a nice add-on if you would like your Cobblestone Generator to generate more than Cobblestone. You can add any blocks that may be placed on the ground to the settings and how often it should generate when a block is being generated.
Something that is unique with this plugin is that you can add ANY block that you wish to be generated! But keep in mind that the rates of all items together always must be 1000, totally! Also, remember that you specify the material as per the Bukkit/Spigot Material class, so you have to use the following labels (and you may only use solid blocks). It is case sensitive.
Default configuration:
Example configuration:
Commands:
/skyblockores - Displays your chances to each item when you're generating Cobblestone
/cobblestone, /ores - Same as above
/skyblockores reload - Reloads the configuration file
Permissions:
Everyone will have permission to default
skyblockores.<permissiongroup>, for example skyblockores.vip
skyblockores.info - Permission to use /skyblockores, /cobblestone and /ores
skyblockores.reload - Permission to reload configuration
To-do:
Any suggestions? Please let me know!
Unless you mind, please leave a review!
tutorial?
Garbage ass plugin, changed world to correct one, adds up to correct number. Just generates cobble
I pasted the example config but it only generates cobble
Please help.
In reply to liamquanvn:
I changed the settings so other ores would spawn and Gold_Ore is nearly the same as Cobblestone and for a whole stack ive only gained Cobblestone.
Same issue with passing block events... assuming it's due to lack of upkeep. Anyone have something that works?
how does it work?
An exception occurred while attempting to solve item percentage for the material "COAL:0".
HELP PLEASE !!!
Coal_Ore, not Coal.
Coal itself is an item, not a block ;)
pls support 1.10
@kadudwpl
had the same Problem, you probably edited the config file with some tool (like notepadpp ?) which automatically adds <TAB> for new line indention. Just make sure you type spaces instead for line indention.
For those trying to enter commands in Server Console -> this will cause to throw exception as the plugin casts command callers always to player entities. If you want to test the plugin on functionality go ingame and give yourself op rights (console: op <playername>) then you can use the Plugin commands from inside game.
Most of the time the plugin probably wont work because of the standard settings in config.yml. Standard world's name is "skyworld" and the standard world name from bukkitserver out of the box is "world".
So... I configured the plugin like you said, but everytime I run the server, the config file returns to Default. I tried with the server closed, then run, tried with it running then reloading. It just doesn't work. The plugin is running normal, with the /ores command working. The only issue is this configuration problem.
@maol3
Hey Maol3 does this plugin work in 1.10?
@mikgreg
Apologies for the late reply. You can't use the placeholder "default" for VIP mining. Everyone will have the default rates, independing on the permissions.
permissions dont seem to be working, i've config'd it exactly like the screenshot but everyone can mine ores. I even negated the perm from them.
@maol3
Btw is it possible to set more than 1 world?
@OneBarRouter
I bet you forgot to set the correct world. For me this plugin works fine
If you set generator to generate stone instead of cobblestone, it will not generate anything
@maol3
It doesnt lol All of mine add up to 1000 and it still doesn't work XD
@Sander0542
Sorry for the late response. You must specify a total of 1000 points for each group. The example configuration should work good.
