More Player Models
This plugin requires Players to install the MorePlayerModels mod
Without moreplayermodels you wont see eachother sit, sleep, dance, hug or love or any of the model changes
Description
This plugin allows you to sit and lie down whenever and wherever you want. The only thing you need todo is press X or type /sit to sit down or press Z or type /sleep to lie down. This however will only be visible to players who have the MorePlayerModels mod installed.
Commands
- /angry to show you are angry
- /bow to bow
- /crawl to crawl (need to hold shift to crawl around)
- /cry to cry
- /dance to dance
- /hug to hug
- /no to shake your head
- /point to point your hand
- /love to love
- /sit to sit down
- /sleep to lie down
- /sing to sing
- /wave to wave
- /wag to wag your tail
- /yes to nod your head
- /mpm url [player] <url>
- /mpm name [player] <name>
- /mpm sendmodel [player from] <player to> (also works on citizens2)
Permissions
- moreplayermodels.entities (remove this permission to disable players from turning into other entities)
Other
To prevent people from seeing 'secret chats' in chatbubbles, set the EnableChatBubbles to false in the config file.
Removing the moreplayermodels.entities permission from players still allows them to turn into entities on their client, but it wont be updated to players anymore. So they see theirselves as the entity but nobody else does.
@Rebirth_Gaming
Never I dont want players to have to pay/donate to be able to use the mod.
Is there a way (or planned implementation) of preventing players via permission node from using this mod *at all*? In other words, adding a different permission node for just the player model editing.
@zephzer
What makes you think it's my mod that causes it?
I'm trying to run this on my server but it seems to cause a memory leak that eventually ends with my server crashing. Any ideas why that would happen?
@Noppes
Thank you! The headline is why I had assumed such, so thank you for clarifying!
@gragertin
Players are not forced to install the mod. If they dont want to use it they dont have to. Its not like if you install this plugin they wont be able to join the server. They simply wont see the models and animations.
@gragertin
This is not possible atm because all the players traffic goes over the server and there is no way that two clients can communicate directly with one another without a server plugin.
@Noppes
Not requiring the mod for all players, I understand this is likely the more difficult route, due to the plugin being a server-side mod enabler
I wont mind if for the mod itself you want be able to see the animations on other players without the plugin, but I'd like the option to not have it forced on the players who don't want to use the mod, especially since the server owner is highly unlikely to accept the suggestion of the plugin if its the case, I apologize if its a lot more work to do with updating it and such, I don't know how the non-server side compatibility worked in the original mod so I have no idea what work it must've been
@gragertin
what do you mean no requirement thing?
Noppes, please make a version of the actual mod where we can see eachother without a plugin again ;w; or a no-requirement thing on the plugin so the admin of my server would agree to adding it in
@poramat17
Negate the permission (add the following to permissions). (This is based on permissionsEx)
Group: default: false/true prefix: '&ColorCode[Group]&r ' permissions: - -Permission.Node - -Another.Node - ThisNodeGivesAPermission.Node - -ThisNodeTakesAPermission.Node
EDIT: Bukkit wrecked spacing, just add - -permission.node
Hi! Really good mod!
But, on Mcpc+ 1.7.2 server, permissions don't works! For 'moreplayermodels.cry' we need to write 'noppes.mpm.commands.CommandCry' But for use 'moreplayermodels.entities' (to lock entities) I don't find the good permission... Only the gamerule 'mpmAllowEntityModels'. But all players are lock and can change their form (not just select a pre-load skin).
Can you help me ? :)
Please add the ability to the automatic change a skin, and height.
/playerheight nick value
My Member on My Server not have permission -moreplayermodels.sit
but He can use command /sit
Why He can use command without permission ?
sorry i'm bad ENG
i like the plugin, cause i can run around as a squirrel angle, but even tough i disabled the chat bubbles on the server side, they still show up, and players can see each others pm's even if they're not directed to them, is it possible to have pm's just not be picked up by the mod/plugin when using hero chat?
@Noppes
Well, it's not necessarily that. It is also showing all channels. There are some specific channels on my server such as Staff channel, that I would prefer to have the option to completely block chat bubbles, regardless of client-side setting.
And I'm almost positive (I have people on my server that agree with me) that the 1.6 version of your plugin completely blocked chat bubbles if the setting was made that way. Is it possible you could make the source code available, in case you do not want to change it back yourself?
@rediem
Well it's not like I cant, but why would you want to prevent people from changing their model?
@PackerbackrGJ85
Hero chat was showing private messages in chat bubbles. Thats why there is a server side option to turn it of. If you dont want chatbubbles on clients people can disable it in the f6 menu.
hello, how about a permissions that lets people change model only if they have the permission, so they cant change anything unless they are given that permission.
Hey Noppes, idk if you saw my post on your MCF thread for the client mod, but chat bubbles are still appearing to everybody on my server with the latest versions of both plugin and client mod. I made sure that the setting on the config.yml is set to false, but it's still showing the bubbles.
