SimpleSpawn Reborn
At one time, my SimpleSpawn plugin reached the top 100 most used plugins according to mcStats.org. But I let it fall by the wayside, and it became abandoned.... and now someone else has a plugin called SimpleSpawn :/
But now the original, official SimpleSpawn is BACK! And with a whole new look!
Download the ZIP file version, including all modules, via SpigotMC

What is SimpleSpawn?
This simple plugin provides a simple way for server admins to manage /spawn locations and to allow players to set their own home locations, in a modular format.
The plugin is split into several modules:
SimpleSpawn-Core
The base plugin required by all other modules. This plugin on its own provides /spawn and /setspawn commands to set spawn points for each world and "/setspawn default" to set the spawn point for new players when they join
SimpleSpawn-Home
Allows players to use /home and /sethome to set their death respawn location and teleport to it.
SimpleSpawn-Work
Like /home and /sethome, but with /work and /setwork so players can set a teleport location in their mine
SimpleSpawn-Back
A simple /back command that takes you back to your last death point, or to the last place you teleported from
SimpleSpawn-Warp
Like /home and /sethome, but with /warp and /setwarp so admins can set warp locations for their players
SimpleSpawn-Jail
A full jail system so admins can set a jail location with /setjail and /jail or /release players at their discretion. Jailed players cannot teleport or interact with the world until released. Released players are sent to the default spawn location to start their rehabilitation.
SimpleSpawn-TpTo
Teleport to another player, but not without their permissions, using /tpto and /tpaccept
More Coming Soon...
I plan to add more modules to this plugin, such as ECONOMY. If you have a suggestion for a command that would fit with this theme, please let me know in the comments.
When using /home or /spawn or /work you can choose to have a teleport effect to tell other players they have teleported. Options include Lightning, Ender Signal, Smoke and Flames.
This is a very lightweight plugin, using SQLite to store all data in one compact file.
If players do not have access to /sethome, using any bed will set their /home location.

You will spawn on exactly the same spawn every time you use /spawn. All new players will spawn exactly on the default spawn point (not on the roof or 5 blocks in a random direction)
Will you spawn at the same spot everytime you join the game?
@ohjays
The first build of SimpleSpawnLite-Core is now available. This breaks SimpleSpawn back down to its basics and handles ONLY world spawn locations. Other functions will soon be available as addon modules.
NOTE: SimpleSpawnLite will NOT work alongside SimpleSpawn, but you can transfer your existing SimpleSpawn database to SimpleSpawnLite. Instructions are provided ion teh SSLite project page.
Go Get It Now! (If you want to that is)

PS.. thanks for all teh downloads everyone. Now the reward scheme is active it all seems more worthwhile :)
@ohjays
I'm thinking I might do a LITE version with modules for the items you want to use. SimpleSpawn was originalyl meant to be just for world spawns, but I gave in to popular demand and added the other functions
Leave it with me :)
please add option to disable various commands only need a decent home allready have a jail plugin. problem with multifunction plugins they all overlap somewhere and no option to disable commands :)
When will it be ready for 1.4.7?
@dmncpham
You would like to add bugs? :P
Sorry, just had to. Tired :P
Hello, this is a great plugin and there are some bugs and suggestions I would like to to add. Firstly, please add options in the config to disable other commands. Secondly, when I jail someone offline, they don't get teleported to the jail when they get online. Please fix these.
Would be awesome if you could set multiple homes, I don't see why you would even try to mess with homes when essentials does it perfectly fine. You should have kept the plugin just to setting different spawn points, nothing more.
DynmapSimpleSpawn is now available! Show all your home, work and Jail locations on your dynmap!

Go get it now! Go on..... quickly!
Hello friends, it is a great honor to speak here today. There seems to be a small issue with the plugin, as whenever a person respawns after they die, they spawn anywhere BUT the designated spawn area. If you could address this issue it would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Willard
awesome plugin!
v2.2.1 has just been uploaded, which is confirmed as working in 1.4.5 and 1.4.6 builds of Bukkit. (Take that other sloppy plugin builders!)
This build fixes a few bugs and just guarantees future compatibility.
@khobbits
Just to clarify... SimpleSpawn does work with the core Essentials package, but does not work well alongside SpawnEssentials. This is of course to be expected when attempting run two plugins that perform the same task.
Whilst SimpleSpawn started as just a /spawn plugin, it has now developed to encompass a much wider variety of commands... hopefully as well if not better than other plugins that do a similar job.
Of course it is important to use whichever plugins work best for your server, and both SimpleSpawn and SpawnEssentials are perfectly acceptable ways of handling player teleportation.
@gradyrus
Uhm... it does.
When i ust /help then there is SimpleSpawn listed.
also /help SimpleSpawn will give me all the information about the commands available.
Just dropping this comment here, to save other people time.
Since version 2.1.0, this plugin can no longer really sit happily along side Essentials. This plugin will take priority over Essentials on /tpa and /tpaccept, leaving a scattered tp system, where its possible to request tp, but not readily accept it.
While previously, SimpleSpawn was a fair alternative to EssentialsSpawn, it is now better to pick one or the other, due to the severe amount of command overlap. No support will be given for people trying to run both plugins side by side.
I have simplespawn installed and it seems as though the permissions i have set up works perfect, only one question though why does simplespawn now show up in the /help list?
DynmapSimpleSpawn is ready to go, and awaiting approval from the Bukkit team
Once it's approved you can grab it HERE
