SimpleSpawn Reborn
At one time, my SimpleSpawn plugin reached the top 100 most used plugins according to mcStats.org. But I let it fall by the wayside, and it became abandoned.... and now someone else has a plugin called SimpleSpawn :/
But now the original, official SimpleSpawn is BACK! And with a whole new look!

What is SimpleSpawn?
This simple plugin provides a simple way for server admins to manage /spawn locations and to allow players to set their own home locations, in a modular format.
The plugin is split into several modules:
SimpleSpawn-Core
The base plugin required by all other modules. This plugin on its own provides /spawn and /setspawn commands to set spawn points for each world and "/setspawn default" to set the spawn point for new players when they join
SimpleSpawn-Home
Allows players to use /home and /sethome to set their death respawn location and teleport to it.
SimpleSpawn-Work
Like /home and /sethome, but with /work and /setwork so players can set a teleport location in their mine
SimpleSpawn-Back
A simple /back command that takes you back to your last death point, or to the last place you teleported from
SimpleSpawn-Warp
Like /home and /sethome, but with /warp and /setwarp so admins can set warp locations for their players
SimpleSpawn-Jail
A full jail system so admins can set a jail location with /setjail and /jail or /release players at their discretion. Jailed players cannot teleport or interact with the world until released. Released players are sent to the default spawn location to start their rehabilitation.
SimpleSpawn-TpTo
Teleport to another player, but not without their permissions, using /tpto and /tpaccept
More Coming Soon...
I plan to add more modules to this plugin, such as ECONOMY. If you have a suggestion for a command that would fit with this theme, please let me know in the comments.
When using /home or /spawn or /work you can choose to have a teleport effect to tell other players they have teleported. Options include Lightning, Ender Signal, Smoke and Flames.
This is a very lightweight plugin, using SQLite to store all data in one compact file.
If players do not have access to /sethome, using any bed will set their /home location.

If you find errors / bugs please open a ticket and give detailed information about bukkit/spigot/paper/whatever else version, and plugin version. If possible also Error Log Snippets.
Is there a way to make a player wait a set amount of time before the TP takes affect? I don't want players just running off immediately if they get swarmed ;p
@kilolife
Interesting... thanks for the feedback.. I will look into that!
In the case of a clean install, you must create an empty file locations.yml. If you do not, then the database will be created, but incorrectly. And the plugin will not work.
This might come in handy! :-)
When someone's in jail, are spawn, teleport and kill commands disabled and/or is this configurable?
Also, are yaw positions preserved/used when setting up a teleport location? (http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/swornjail/#c6 )
Thanks a lot!

@Draxick
please start a ticket an attach the error in the console. Please include which version of bukkit and simplespawn you are using (and please don't just put 'the latest version')
@LihPeu
no, this plugin currently only allows 1 home... I can look into it though
Sound like a nice replacement for my current home management the essentials plug-in. We have many worlds on the server and need a homes per world, this can be achieved by sleeping in a bed per world. If users do /sethome with no aguments it will override all other world homes and leave the user with only one. To solve this the user must do /sethome [arg] with a different argument each world and use the argument when doing /home [arg]. With beds /home works per world just fine no arguments needed. Does your plugin set a home per world? with /sethome or sleeping?
Ok, i set my home and spawn point but when i do /spawn or /home it says ''An internal error occurred while attempting to perfrom this command'' please help!
I've just uploaded v2.0.0, which is a COMPLETE re-write of this plugin. The locations.yml file is now a SQLite database, there are new commands and new permissions.
Please make sure you read all the above before updating to 2.0.0 or above... and it it STRONGLY recommended that you backup your locations.yml file before making the switch.
As always, let me know about any problems you may hit or suggestions you may have.
Enjoy!
@Kraskowewe
Make sure they have the simplespawn.home.set permission (or simplespawn.home.* if you want them to use /home too)
How can I allow non-OP player to set their homes?
@ellbristow
I believe so yes :-)
Is it possible for you to add in a configuration which let's us choose what message appears when we use /spawn? Like being able to change the "WHOOSH" message to something different.
@SmashboxGaming
What do you mean by first spawn? Do you mean a place where new players arrive at?
@ellbristow
Would you consider adding a first spawn location?
v1.1.1 uploaded
Tested Working with 1.1-R6 AND 1.2.2-R0.1 (#2013)
Hello, I'm a beginner. This text is translating with Google Translate. I need players to take advantage of: sethome, home and spawn. But I do not want to be able to use setspawn. I do not know how to create these rules. Can you send someone set this file? or somehow explain the whole process? thank you. I have a server and this is one of the things that I do not know. Otherwise, my plugin for admins works. Thanks for your help. Vlcek
What permission systems are supported? I can't give normal users permissions to use any of the commands.
Very very GOOD!
You should add Multi World as well, one home per world!
Great! Simple and easy to set up, and the spawn effects are a pleasant touch!
