Changelog

  • simplesignedit.* permission now also grants simplesignedit.wands
  • New "edit-wand" permission in the config allows you to choose any item as the sign-edit wand; use AIR if you want to require an empty hand
  • You can now (once more) see the text of the sign being edited, while it's being edited
  • In the config, you can specify the wands using IDs, Material names, or internal Minecraft item names (prefixed with "minecraft:")

Note: The new "edit-wand" permission as well as the ability to see the sign text while editing requires Minecraft 1.7. In earlier versions, when you try to edit a sign, the "editing-sign" is always blank, even if the old sign had text; furthermore you must hold a sign to edit regardless of the setting of "edit-wand".
