Features

Commands
- /sm m PLAYERNAME or /sm mute PLAYERNAME (mutes player)
- /sm um PLAYERNAME or /sm unmute PLAYERNAME (unmutes player)
- /sm tag CHAT_TAG (sets chat tag)

SimpleMute.use
Metrics
Don't expect a lot of servers/users. The plugin has only been added since a day.

Posted Mar 8, 2013Hi, I want to silently mute players, meaning that I want the player to THINK he's not muted even when he is - to him, it seems his messages are still going out, but no one else is receiving them, and he doesn't get any notification when I mute him.
Any chance you'll add it?

I have noticed a couple things:
-when i use the command /sm mute <player>, I get no indication that it worked. I did try it on myself, and it works, but it would be nice if it said "<player> has been muted" or something.
-similarly for unmuting, it works, but has no feedback.
-also, when you unmute a player, it tells them that they have been muted. (the exact same message they get when you mute them) It should instead say "You have been un-muted" or similar.
And one request if you don't mind: Could you make the commands simply /mute and /unmute? This would be much simpler to use, and I don't think you have to worry about any conflicts, because this doesn't do anything more than commandbook/essentials built-in commands do. (I just don't want the bloat of either of them when i just want a /mute command, and yours is the only one I can find that is up to date)
