Thanks for getting back to me.  Here's the original info I posted:  I left the extras config as provided with all items set to true. I added the 2 admin permissions to the Owner group. Restarted or reloaded several times.

When I try '/msg, /me or /bcast' I get a message saying "the following command is invalid."  Also, when I press tab to see the playerlist, next to my name the green bars have a red X over them.  Why?

Is there something else I need to do for an Owner/Admin to have full access to all commands? I have Essentials installed, maybe something there is messing things up?

/say /tell, /whisper, etc . . .

I can use the following:

/reply /adminchat /party /chat /ss /simplechat reload /simplechat /simplechat help

What plugin do you use for permissions? It may be a compatibility issue that hasnt surfaced before.

I use Privileges . . . and I uploaded both the config & groups files yesterday for your reference if you need them.

Are there any errors coming up in the console?

The screen states: "the following command is invalid" and then lists whatever command I tried to use.

I have not seen anything in the console of the server (multi-craft) panel, but I'll check it again right now.

And it has the "[SimpleChat]" prefix, right?

Can you post an example of what command you're doing? Like, "/me hello", not just the /me, but the stuff that follows it.

Well HotShot2162 must just be your presence . . . I restarted for the upteenth time and now it's all working! It now says [Broadcast] blah blah blah. Before I got nothing. Maybe the server needed a good rest.

I'm really liking your plugin :). I had been trying to get Essentials Chat to work for colors & prefixes and kept having a compatibility issue with something. Could never figure it out or get quality assistance from any authors, etc.

It's nice to have someone help when needed :)

Ill try to add in a debug mode so problems like these can get resolved easier.

Debug mode would be great. I was flying a little blind. I'm new at this but learned quickly a little debug would lead me to the areas that needed attention.

By the way, I'm going to check out your other plugins . . . I hope you keep at this plugin thing if all your plugins are this easy. :)
