Nobody can speak in chat other than OPs, even players with the simplechat.* permission.
The error given in chat is 'you don't have permission to speak in global'

Additionally, speaking in admin chat doesn't broadcast the message to yourself (however, the console receives it) I'm probably just missing some permission nodes, are they all listed on the main page?

Are there any messages popping up about groups not being synced? Are the players getting any messages about not being able to talk? Have you tried resetting your server (Resetting, not reloading)?

I've reset the server, and yeah the groups are synched. i'll post a screenshot to show the error.

Another plugin was overriding simplechat, sorry for the inconvenience

Which plugin was it? For future reference.
