SIMPLE GATES

This plugin allows you to create and use gates on your Minecraft Bukkit server.

Version 2.1beta works with CB 1.5.1 ONLY. NOT REVERSE COMPATIBLE

Key Features

Create gates using Nether Fence, Fence, Iron Fence or Thin Glass.
Gates are highly protected, preventing duplication and griefing.
Only those with permission can use, modify and destroy your gates.
Gates can open instantly or with an animation.
Gates can be activated by redstone, with many options.

Commands

/gates owner <player> Changes the owner of a gate
/gates type <type> Changes the type of gate
/gates redstone <ON|OFF|TOGGLE> Turns redstone activation On, Off or Toggles it

try - - gates.all

instead of gates.* u may want to put the negative before the allowed permission, order of operations the way you have it would allow permission to use, then revoke all permission to the plugin. If its read like that it may not work, u should have your removals before your granted permissions.

player can still create gates using [gate] but the sign only displays the first line

i like the display like that but they shouldn't be able to create gates modify gates or destroy gates, but they can.....

any ideas???

Thanks for the ticket, 2 notes, 1 seems to be a simple issue with needing to be updated to R0.2, I will work on that this week, next - this plugin is being moved back to the original plugin page which can be found By Clicking HERE.

Right now the basic redstone settings are On, Off and Toggle. If its set as on, it allows the gate to be activated by a redstone signal and toggle should send a signal back through the redstone similar to flipping a lever.

Types are defined in the config, when you make a new sign you will see that it starts out as default.

type:
default:
delay: 16
redstone: REDSTONE_OFF
instant:
delay: 0
redstone: REDSTONE_OFF
redstone:
delay: 8
redstone: REDSTONE_ON
toggle:
delay: 8
redstone: REDSTONE_TOGGLE

it allows you to customize how long it takes for the gate to open and the redstone setting together.

Just downloaded, works great, no issues so far! Very simple & easy to use. I like it!
Could you explain better about what the different types and redstone settings do? It's not very clear.

Using this plugin, works perfectly! Thanks for sharing this :) I was using craftbook but all I wanted was the gates so this is great , thanks again

That was probably it, i didn't compile it for use with spigot or spout. right now its only support is for bukkit

you know now that I think about it. Could be the fact I use spigot.

Spigot tends to not work with bukkit plugins from time to time.

so many errors, can't be bothered to go to pastebin atm though.

wish it worked for my server, I like simple. makes players ask less questions about how to do things.
