Looking for Dev builds?
Dev builds give off new features and bug fixes before they are officially released, however these features and bug fixes may not have been tested as much as a release on here
Old page:
I am testing this new page out. I am aware of some parts that are missing such as ship types, but please say if there is anything that you wish to see. I plan on making a FAQ's that includes common questions such as how to change ship requirements.
If you want to see the old page, it is here

Ships 6 changes
Ships has gone through many changes, Ships 6 is the latest rewrite of the plugin. The latest rewrite fixes multiple bugs found in the root of previous versions of Ships.
Features
Moving ships
As the name of the plugin suggests, you can create your own ship and move it with just a single click.
Works with all blocks
There is a fully-fledged list where you can configure every block to react differently for the ships, including being able to add a block type to interact with Ships, detect it as a collide, and even not react at all.
Teleport to ships
There have been many requests to be able to teleport to ships for not only this plugin but others like it. This feature has been added to Ships, however, if it is something you do not wish, then you can disable to command by not adding the command.
Falling Ships
Ships will fall/sink if requirements are not met, this could be done through your own interaction such as running out of fuel, or by something else such as a TNT explosion.

More faith in me. Just browse the source code :D
[Edit] I reviewed the code, I tested the new builds (but no change) and can not seem to cause errors.
@shamufomu
haha yeah... there's like a dedicated group of us who've been waiting for this to happen for FOREVER now. I keep getting my hopes up. Everyone should go ask AJCStriker @movecraft and get him to write a new module for this... movecraft's great, but I miss the old cruise feel of this plugin. and I liked the realistic aspect, with the burner and the wool and the fuel tank and all, even if the fuel was ridiculously expensive.
hey STRIKER, if you read this, please make a module for us... It doesn't have to be right now, but maybe later, after the big update comes. it'll still probably be before this thing updates :(
well it looks like this mod died again
@Jarrettkk
I spent a long while figuring this out, so here's how it works. though I doubt it'll work well, as the current version's very glitchy.
The airship has to be 60% wool. this is supposed to represent the helium envelope of the ship.
It has to have a fuel tank on board. to create a fuel tank, place a cauldron and then put a sign on the ground in front of it, with [fuel] on the first line. the sign will attach itself to the cauldron's side. add fuel to it by right clicking the sign with coal. the cauldron will fill with water.
It also has to have a fire on board, as the burner of the ship. this makes creation challenging as the ship has to not catch on fire, and it can't be made of stone. I usually end up using lots of nether brick fence and glass in my construction. Iron, gold, and diamond blocks work well as well.
There are four signs for ship control. All are simple to make.
the first is the maneuvering engine sign. right clicking these will move the ship a few blocks in the direction of the back of the sign. most ships have 4 of these, 1 facing each direction. to create this, write [engine] on a sign's first line.
The ship's wheel is our next sign. write [wheel] on the first line. right clicking it will turn the ship 90 degrees to the right, and left clicking will turn the ship 90 degrees to the left. very simple.
Third is the Burner sign. this is how you go up and down. it supposedly controls the "burner", the open flame that is required on all ships. It's right click up, left click down.
Last is the Autoflight sign, which makes your ship move automatically in the direction of the back of the sign. right click it to start it, left click it to stop. to create it, write [EOT] on the first line. I still don't know what EOT stands for, but whatever.
Please note that the current version's ships are very slow and buggy. most of my players ended up falling out of it. you might want to wait for the update, which is supposed to happen soon.
(Qx2, your description is a little bit hard to understand. Feel free to use this one if you like, it might encourage more downloads if people understand what it does)
Ok, the instructions are barely in English :/
"We put the cauldron In addition to the cauldron plate on which we write: [fuel] (How do you stick to the fuel tank) You take in carbon paw and click right on the mark. Should change in a tank of fuel should occur."
Is it just me, or does NONE of this make ANY sense whatsoever? wow... I get that I place a cauldron, whats a cauldron plate? do I write [fuel] on a sign? where does the sign go? whats a carbon paw? what mark? The last sentence just literally makes no grammatical sense.
"By airship flying must have 60% wool." Wait, what? I get that my ship should have 60% wool from this sentence, but c'mon! Grammar, people! Grammar!
"(So with all that is done by the player.)" So, all of that should be done by the player. I suppose is what's meant here
I would put up a post here translating it into actual English, but I don't understand the cauldron portion AT ALL.
so when can we expect an update?
yay! Hope is restored!
Qx2 could you post the source code please?
Hi, I came back. You Miss? :P Sory that I was not so much but I wrote a dating web site. http://q-love.pl Still not finished in 100%
Things look like this: I run my server again. I'll try to update this plugin. For several months I have not written anything in Java. So the update does not appear from day to day I have yet to write a plugin to log on and go back to this project.
Alright, I posted a REQ on the forums. hopefully we'll get some takers. I want to see this happen... If anyone stumbles across this page and wants to continue it, please do! It'd make a great movecraft module. or if anyone has a way to contact Qx2, that'd be nice as well... apparently he sort of vanished off the face of the earth.
Wheel is working ? All are working, but wheel is not turning ship ...
@shamufomu
i'm trying to get Striker to add this as a module for movecraft. because I think I stand for all of us when I think this is just too good of an idea to die. I'm going to get it to happen. somehow or another.... I encourage any of you who're still holding out hope for this plugin to move over to movecraft. it's been great for my server.
@shamufomu
Movecraft?
has anyone found a airship/ larger boat plugin other than this one?
@Master_Zangetsu
No it's because the plugin requires the world to be called "world". So it sends them to that nonexistent world. When you create a world with the name "world" they should be in the same coordinates as in the other world. It happened on my server.
@Dibujaron
Starting to think that as well, pitty he never posted a svn so someone could carry it on.
Seems his site is down as well.
seems as if Qx2 has deserted us. sigh. it really was a good idea.
Hmmm. I'm starting to give up hope here. the sign-control was such a good idea. Qx2, please? we all love your idea. finish it for us?
I see that this plugin is "GNU General Public License..", would it be possible to get a link to a SVN for it? I dont want to take the project over or anything, just hate to see such a great idea die.
Aw this sucks, please update.
