What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install Spigot (latest version as of July 12, 2015)
2. Install ProtocolLib (latest version as of July 12, 2015)
3. Install SexyMotd (latest version as of July 12, 2015)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expected the plugin to work that is my motd should have changed but it did not. Additionally an error is shown a while after the server is launched. I think the error is from when a player is trying to get the motd, but I am not certain at this.

What version of the product are you using?
The latest, 1.2.2

This happened after updating the server. It could be the cause of this problem.

That means the version of ProtocolLib you are using is not compatible with the plugin version you are using.

Try using various versions of ProtocolLib (latest, a few back, etc.) and see if that fixes the issue.
