MOTD

ServerListManager

Version 1.0

Description

This is a simple ServerListManager. You can add one or more MOTDs, or add fakemaxplayers. You can edit MOTDs and fakemaxplayers ingame.

Installation

Put the MOTD.jar into your plugins folder.
Reload or restart the server.

Commands / Permissions

/motd add <motd> - Adds a new MOTD. (Permissions: motd.add)
/motd list - List your MOTDs (Permissions: motd.list)
/motd maxplayer <number> - Change the fakemaxplayers. (Permissions: motd.maxplayer)
/motd remove <MOTD> - Remove a MOTD. You have to include the color codes. (Permissions: motd.remove)
/motd reload - Reload the config. (Permissions: motd.reload)

Todo

Change fake number of players ingame. (Idea: ben1498)

I cannot believe this still works on MC 1.11.2 with Spigot.

Two things I wish it would do, one being that EssentialsX and others use /motd already, could we perhaps have the ability to change it from /motd to something else in the config? And secondly, could we get \n for multi-line support?

Bonus question, could it support placeholders like %name% etc?

I just have the permissions to use the Bukkit update checker, so I have to recode the updater.

Seems like a cool feature to have on servers. I may add this to my server since it is hard to get information across to players before they decide to leave etc. so why not give it to them before they even join? Great plugin. 8/10 Rating.

Can You Change Fake Number Of Players In Game? So For Example 35/40 when its actually 3/40.

this is such a useful plugin, i now don't have to restart my server every time i want to change the motd to say maintenance or something. keep it up :)

You can add multiply MOTDs, and then a random MOTD get chosen.
