Runecraft
Runecraft is a gameplay modification for SMP, that adds magic to the game without any commands. Runecraft is the longest running Minecraft mod, dating back to the Alpha days. Runecraft boasts over 120 runes and is still under active development. Everything you need in one, immersive, magic plugin.
Magic is done through the form of "runes", significant shapes of materials laid out in the actual game world. These runes can create unique short-term tool enchants, teleporters, hidden walls/passageways, and even the ability to create mobile teleporting bases.
- Player built simple Teleporters that use unique combinations of blocks to identify destinations
- Specific enchantments for dealing with natural hazards (lava, floods, falling gravel)
- Magic blocks that flip between two blocks when you activate them, or reveal secret passages
- Redstone compatibility: allowing runes to be activated by redstone signals
- Multi-world support: all features are completely compatible with multiple-world servers
- Commandless setup: Runecraft is designed for minimum hassle in configuring it. plugin and go!
- Easy configuration: it's simple to disable a rune entirely, or a rune per person.
- Optional permissions compatibility
- Requires no client modification
Runecraft prides itself on its immersive nature, with no need for any slash commands. Everything can be done in-game by players, constructing the runes to create the effects they're looking for. Runecraft is an extremely popular addon for roleplay, PVP, and small servers because of it's out of the box ability to just be installed and start running, and covering a variety of pseudo-administrative and gameplay mechanics from an entirely in game point of view.

We plan on adding in another place for this actually. A seperate world that will not allow you to build or break blocks and will allow you to see all the runes and such.

Posted Oct 8, 2016here is something this plugin should have. a book with diagrams of the runes as well as a small description and what is needed for each Rune. That way people know what runes there are and how to make them. This prevents them from needing to go to an external source (website) to find out about Runes.

Posted Oct 8, 2016So im a server owner, Using both slimefun (exoticgardens) and runecraft. I encountered the issue where runecraft and exoticgardens is interacting and making it so when your harvest from the trees in exoticgarden you do not get the item you are supposed to. We believe it is caused by truenames and wonder if there is any support you could possibly provide?

Posted Oct 6, 2016I seem to be having some trouble with teleporters. I've built a pair of reciprocal teleporters, with each others waypoints underneath, as usual. It works fine in one direction, but in the other, gives me the 'There is no safe place to put your character' message. The only thing above the waypoint is a teleporter, then a 5x5x5 cube of empty space. Any idea what could be causing this?

Posted Aug 11, 2016Hey everyone! Sorry about the lack of replies! I got a job recently and haven't had a whole lot of time to work on Runecraft. I hope to get back to it soon. Last I heard, Amuxix was in university, Josiah has been busy with real life. And lvletei has been working as well. We will get back to this soon we hope! Sorry for the inconvenience! :(

I don't know on the wiki part. We planned on doing a new wiki, but real life got in the way. The dispel rune now has a sign in the middle of it to allow you to remove some of the Runecraft enchants.
