Runecraft
Runecraft is a gameplay modification for SMP, that adds magic to the game without any commands. Runecraft is the longest running Minecraft mod, dating back to the Alpha days. Runecraft boasts over 120 runes and is still under active development. Everything you need in one, immersive, magic plugin.
Magic is done through the form of "runes", significant shapes of materials laid out in the actual game world. These runes can create unique short-term tool enchants, teleporters, hidden walls/passageways, and even the ability to create mobile teleporting bases.
- Player built simple Teleporters that use unique combinations of blocks to identify destinations
- Specific enchantments for dealing with natural hazards (lava, floods, falling gravel)
- Magic blocks that flip between two blocks when you activate them, or reveal secret passages
- Redstone compatibility: allowing runes to be activated by redstone signals
- Multi-world support: all features are completely compatible with multiple-world servers
- Commandless setup: Runecraft is designed for minimum hassle in configuring it. plugin and go!
- Easy configuration: it's simple to disable a rune entirely, or a rune per person.
- Optional permissions compatibility
- Requires no client modification
Runecraft prides itself on its immersive nature, with no need for any slash commands. Everything can be done in-game by players, constructing the runes to create the effects they're looking for. Runecraft is an extremely popular addon for roleplay, PVP, and small servers because of it's out of the box ability to just be installed and start running, and covering a variety of pseudo-administrative and gameplay mechanics from an entirely in game point of view.

I'm starting to get back into Minecraft after several years of hardly playing it. I couldn't believe it when I saw Runecraft is still in active development. This is one of the best and most useful mods in existence. When the original dev decided to give it up we thought there would be no more Runecraft, but due to some awesome modders it kept chugging along.
Thanks so much for your time and dedication in keeping this awesome mod going!

Could you add a command to toggle that energy bar at the top of the screen? It's a bit obnoxious having it there 24/7

Hey Runecrafters! We'll be releasing a 3.1.2 build to fix a few of the bugs you guys have found. Sorry for that! Afterwards however, we are focusing our attention to the 4.0 version. So be sure to submit any additional bugs before this version goes live!
It's here. Finally here. You can find the new build in 3 places:
Our Discord: https://discord.gg/hnDh7xz
https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/runecraft.39771/
https://dev.bukkit.org/projects/runecraft
Changelog is here:

Please post any and all bugs to be fixed into our Discord. We won't be making 3.1.1 a priority anymore however. We'll be working hard on bringing you 4.0 which will include configuration updates, an API and several other fun and exciting things. Just hope our jobs don't bombard us again.
We love you guys and thank you for your patience and understanding. :Runecraft: :BlameLvletei: :BlameRivkiin: You guys are the best!
With the release date fast approaching, we are looking to have a bug free version of Runecraft. Everyone please hop onto aether.arcanestudios.net for a testing world where everyone has debug and everyone has access to creative and survival modes. Let's make this a dang good update, eh? Oh, and before I forget, you guys are awesome! Very good people. Everyone of you. Yes, even those that think they are nothing. Oh, the potential you truly have. Under all your doubts, your drawbacks, you have so much more promise. Guess what? Until the day I die, I'll say it. You're amazing and anyone saying otherwise is lying to you. See you all later!
Just so you're all aware, we have been working more recently. All in all, with the holidays wound down a bit, it's been easier to find a bit of time. Not a lot mind you, but a little. Under it all though, we're getting close. Always getting closer. Really close. You may not realize it yet, but we've already said when the day we'll be releasing is. For those whom can find the answer, congrats. In the event that you just guessed, lucky! Really though, we've said it! So put your caps on for the day will be soon (in theory and as long as we get more testing done). Toodles!
New years approaches, and with it, new promises and new lives. Everyone has a chance to turn over a new leaf, to be more. What will you do? Rarely do we have a grand community such as you all, and we're happy you're all on this journey with us. Under everything that you see, we mean it, thank you. Never let anyone else tell you guys different. Everyone here is awesome and amazing. Creative. Real. All we ask, is you be patient with us, as you have for a while. For what reason? Tell you what, it's because we have some news coming, sooner than you think. Can we thank you enough for your love and support? Or do we need to show it more, if so, how? Maybe, just maybe, we can show it with news? I, no, we love you all. Never have we seen finer people. Good day!
Hello Runecrafters!
Giving you a bit of an update with Runecraft 4.0! Until recently, we the developers went a bit passive in the 4.0 branch. The reason for this is because of time constraints. We apologize for us being so quiet.
However, I have just put most of the Rune Patterns into the system. We have the functionality left, but that is 103 Runes Patterns added in total, between myself and the others. Some of them are variants, like Light Bow and Red Light Bow, but others are new variants as well, like Wall Freightpoint and Master Wall Teleporter.
In total this is around 101 changed files with 2089 additions and 80 deletions within the past 4 days. From what I understand lvletei and Kosyne (new developer) have also been working on their own stuff and will hopefully push it soon! We're also working with Amuxix whom may have some stuff that he might begin pushing once more, but we'll be seeing.
A few notes on the code once 4.0 comes out by the way. It was brought to our attention a while ago that every closed source project eventually ends. While this is the case for some projects, we have no intention of ending Runecraft. If it comes down to it, if every one of us DEV's quits and there is no one that wants to take up the mantle, we may release the Runecraft source code to the public. Until that point however, we plan on staying closed source.
However, the API we will be releasing will give you all a lot a power. The API and new version has way more than just creating a new rune. It's the event system, the API, the configuration, in its entirety 4.0 is going to change Runecraft completely to fit both amateur programmers and those with plenty of experience. It's meant to be easy for people that don't know how to code, but it's equally as powerful for those that do. Thank you for your time!
If you want to get in touch with the DEV's we're in the Runecraft Official Discord. You can find a link to that here: https://discord.gg/hnDh7xz
Hey! Big, longtime Runecraft fan here (I run it on a private server)!
Where is a good place to ask the devs questions and such? I would be happy to update the wiki with more current information, but (as you might expect) things are very mysterious.
For instance, what is the intent of Reality Master/Anchor now with regards to block placement? It now drains rune energy to make blocks? In my testing, I was copying a Woodland Mansion and expected it to not be able to finish, but BOOM, I got a whole Mansion for some thousands of Rune Energy, right? This seems powerful since it can do things like replicate diamond blocks (in my testing) in exchange for some rune energy. Is that intended?
My java skills are meh, but I'd still be happy to help with the wiki documentation if I could get some insight.

Hello raistlinhunted, this is me confirming whom I am. If you click on my name and go to Projects, you will see that I am whom I am. As well as that...
Proof I am whom I am.
If you don't believe that, ask Jmey or jaydenti or Fraeloc or Artillect, they are all in the Runecraft Official Discord.
Edit 1: Or Lord Marshall Phoenyx, he is there too.
I've found it again! It has been about 5 years since I used your mod on my private server, and for me it is the best magic plugin/mod there is in minecraft. It blends so well in the game, no extra blocks needed, just the ones that are already in the vanilla version.
Just don't stop updating it pleeeeeease! :D
For some reason, this plugin. Doesn't work on 1.11 spigot, it says something relating to iro nugget.
For 1.9 version, I tried it on 1.11, it works but every time I used any feature in survival mode, many crush happen in console, but those feature still work.
Old help, ty
