rSponge

What is rSponge?

rSponge is a mechanical plugin to make a use for sponge, in survival Minecraft and Minigames such as CTF.

What are the Features of rSponge?

When a player runs over a sponge block they get pelted in the direction they were running in. If there is a sponge below a sponge then they get pelted straight up into the air.

v.1.0.0:

When you run over sponge you get pelted in that direction.
If you put a sponge under a sponge then you get launched in the air.
Permission Node: rSponge.use added.

v.1.1.0:

Fixed a bug where two sponges on top of each other would not make a difference.
/rsponge use is added to toggle whether you want the sponge feature enabled.
/rsponge use now has a permission: rSponge.UseToggle
Now works with 1.5.2!

v.1.2.0:

Now damage is not taken when you fall from the jump.
/rsponge sound is added to toggle whether you want the sound feature enabled.
Now works with 1.7.2

v.1.3.0:

Finally Added Config:

Two Sponge Height:
One Sponge Height:
Straight Distance:
Diagonal Distance

Includes ratio from Straight to Diagonal (1:0.65)

v.1.4.0:

Updated to 1.7.2 R0.3
Now you can completely enable and disable sound in the config.
Now you are able to the change the sound played in the config from these sounds: http://jd.bukkit.org/rb/apidocs/org/bukkit/Sound.html

It seems to be that the plugin is conflicting with SimplePluginManager, I will set up a test server and try to locate the issue. I will also be updating the plugin to the latest Bukkit build after I have carried out the tests. I will try to get back to you before the end of the day.

Correction I will not be updating to Bukkit 1.7.5 until there is a Beta build. I will still try to replicate your problem and solve it when I can.

Sorry to bother again, but I encountered an error that pops up in the console whenever i take damage (experienced with, but may not be limited to fire tick, fire, and fall damage)

It doesnt appear to effect anything, other than spamming the console, but i could be wrong.

Hi, I noticed that when the server starts up, it says "[rSponge] Loading rSponge v1.2.0 Dev Build" even though I made sure I downloaded v.1.3.0 and the configs wont use the new config options (though the actual configs in the jar shows it)

Its a great plugin and it gives the sponge some actual usage! I also wondered if you could add in the config the option to change the sound effect to a different sound or to disable the sound permanently. Thanks for your time and effort~

Looks nice, simple but nice, but I have to agree that there should be a config so you can change the velocity of how far you are moved; and maybe make it so where the player looks is where he gets moved rather than in a certain height and direction?

Awesome plugin, just do you don't get fall dmg and you can set in config distances The no fall dmg is really critical, I can't open my server before it
