Could not identify <player> = #345

When typing in any Rolecraft commands as a player it replies with -
"Uups, I don't know you! Maybe try to login again. see console for more information."

The server console states "[Rolecraft] Could not identify <player>. Check your config and class configuration. Find help at caliog.org."

I have checked both the config.yml and the classes.yml and do not see anything about log in.

Thank you in advanced for being so active and for all of the support.

edit: I am running bukkit 1.12.2

Is this still happening after you completely stop your server and start again?

    Also try this:

Go to plugins/Rolecraft/.data/Players and check if the name of your player has an entry in the players.yml.

    caliog

I checked the directory you sent me to and there are no players listed there. How can I fix this and set it to automatically set up players?

    Please follow these steps:

    • stop your server
    • go to Rolecraft's config.yml and set 'enable-debugging' to true.
    • start your server
    • log in and print the log.yml in the .data folder (Rolecraft/.data/log.yml) here in the comments.
    • check if there are any errors or warning in the server log
    • is players.yml still empty?
    • now reload your server while you are still logged in
    • again print the log.yml here in the comments

Is the world you are logging into disabled in the config.yml?

    Thanks for help

I am having this same problem and there was no players.yml to start with. I looked on this thread to see if I could find an answer, but can't seem to see one. Would like if you could help with this. Thanks!

    *FIX*

    EDIT#2 : I FIXED IT!!!

VAULT IS NEEDED FOR THIS PLUGIN TO WORK!

I was wondering why it was working at 1st. I had vault when I first launched my server but I moved to an other plugin eventually.

I got same problem even though my YML file was fine.  I completely reinstalled the plugin and now it doesn't even generate anything inside .data/Players  . I  tried to create the players.yml file myself by writting  " <user> : Warrior " and even that didn't do it.

That's the only thing in my Log :

    INFO(14:36:19)>
    Enabled Rolecraft version: v1_12_R1
    Saving...

Sometimes if I try using a  RC command log will say I did. But it doesn't work and always output the "Uups, I don't know you!" or "Internal error" message.

EDIT: I just found out that in my Server Log I have :

[Server thread/INFO]: [Rolecraft] Enabling Rolecraft v3.2.12
[Server thread/ERROR]: Error occurred while enabling Rolecraft v3.2.12 (Is it up to date?)

I have latest version of plugin (as of July 2018)

    and Bukkit 1.12

Seems like installing Vault fixes the issue. I will fix it so this doesnt happen even if you dont have Vault installed.
