If you want an extra function (or something made configurable), just ask me and I'll add it that option to the config!

- NeatMoster made RealisticTorches v1.4.1 (last updated: 22 Oct 2011) and gave me the sources, which caused me to start creating Bukkit plugins. Without him, I would have never created a Bukkit plugin.
it worked normally on craftbukkits before #2380 went out. Can anyone update It please?
@edit
Nvm! Downloaded the latest version and worked perfectly!
Hey, can you add the ability to make this per world? I really don't want to mess with my redstone but would love this on my RPG world!
I really like this plugin but it can't work on bukkit 1.2.5 R5.0.
@koibunny
Hey Koibunny and All,
I've got a copy of the source and permission to make an update to the plugin. He hasn't been on since to add me to the bukkitdev project but I can have updated code I think.
I'll be able to start on the code this weekend. Can you please list the functionality you're requesting?
I've sent a message to the owner suggesting that I bring this plugin up to date with the latest version of bukkit.
I suspect there won't be any issues but someone active should hold it.
I'd also like to make the source public so that similar issues can't happen.
I'd love an updated version as well. Can't seem to find anything else out there which performs the same task as this does..
Hey mate. I was just wondering if there will be an updated version of this plugin at all? It seems really great and there is nothing else like it. It would be a shame to see it disappear.
Thanks, Aaron.
I want to implement this on my server but only on one of my four worlds. Can you add a option for certain worlds you specify?
Plzz make this work either with worldguard or permissions :(
Need it bad..
So everytorch in the whole world doesnt just go out. only within specified region.
Like adding a flag to the region possible.. :)
:)
We believe in you
Currently I'm kinda short on time, got a deadline to meet in a week or so.
After that I'll have enough time to add extra things to this plugin.
permissions so the items placed by someone with the permissions it wont go off?
Will try this now!
@zwarmapapa
Yes, mySQL please! Thanks for taking my suggestion into consideration!
@zwarmapapa
Fully pledged MySql no sql lite :(
@Tyeiz
I'll test if SQLite goes any faster, and if it does, I'll put it into the plugin (or I'll make an option to use txt files or a SQLite database)
Do you ever plan to add database support, such as SQL? I have a feeling that may make the plugin run a bit speedier. I have a server with a 10k x 10k world with about 20 regular users plus many other infrequent users, and had to uninstall the plugin because of the tremendous lag I was getting. I really love the idea of the plugin and hope to be able to put it in place again! (By the way, I'm running an older version since I have a Tekkit server. Tekkit only uses 1.1-R4 at the moment.)
@JoneKone
Strange, it's probably because of the new craftbukkit version.
I'll try to fix it as soon as possible.

Yeah i have it on...
Also when the light is turned off.. The client doesn't update it... And even after relog it doesn't dim the light. Only when i punch the torch out it dim's the light. I can also punch next to the torch.
And no errors
