RealCompass

RealCompass forces a player's compass to always point to a configurable direction.

Permissions

- realcompass.point - This will allow a player to get their compass point to one direction.
- realcompass.direction.get - This will allow a player to get the facing of a compass.
- realcompass.direction.set - This will allow a player to set the facing of all compasses.
- realcompass.admin - This will allow a player to perform certain admin commands.

Commands

/rc - Shows basic info about RealCompass
/rc help - Shows a list of commands
/rc set <direction> - Set the facing of all compasses.
/rc get - Get the facing of a compass.

- Updated for 1.0's new direction. The sun and moon rise in the east and set in the west. Clouds now head west as well. If you look east, north will be on your left. North is now the negative Z axis. Note: Also compiled on latest Bukkit

- Minor memory usage decrease.

I realize this reply is to an old post, but in case someone stumbles upon this question I believe I know why the Minecraft snooper is not not reporting identical results to javatester.org.

The original poster is on a Mac and has Java 1.6u37 installed, which is installed and maintained by Apple (and used by Minecraft). He has also installed JRE (Java Runtime Environment), or the Java plugin for browsers, version 1.7u9 (and used by his browser). Because Minecraft doesn't run in a browser it doesn't run the JRE. The only version Minecraft can find is the 1.6u37. If he were to install the JDK (Java Development Kit) version 1.7u25 (at the time of this writing) and use the current Minecraft Launcher (1.6.2 at the time of this writing) he can configure Minecraft to use the Java 1.7u25. If anybody really cares and wants good instructions send me a private message.

Never Mind, Just went to http://javatester.org/version.html and found out that I'm using 1.7.0_09 from Oracle Corporation, But according to the Minecraft "Snooper" settings the "java_version" is 1.6.0_37. Im Confused :/

I'll have a look around kavas website for that cause I don't think that they made the Mac versions. From what I know apple made their own but have now stopped it :/ ill pm you the ip later. I'm tired ;P sucks to live in AUS at times

Update: Redownloaded the latest Java 7 for mac, Same problem. :/ Gonna do a System restart. :) And yes, It is Java 7 Update 9

Hmm, try updating to the latest Java version. 'UnsupportedClassVersionError' means that the version of Java that I use, isn't the same as yours. I've checked on my side. I have the latest version of Java. Java 7 update 9. If you haven't got that, try downloading it.
