RcMMO
RcMMO
What is it?
RcMMO is a Bukkit plugin / server mod that allows the owner or administrator to make some command aliases, specifically tested for McMMO, but honestly, it works for every command. This allows the players on the server to be happier due to the ease of being able to type in commands. The administrator can also add a shop to buy these configurable items so that they can enjoy the plugin McMMO and others with ease. This plugin's main focus is ease of use and McMMO. The config.yml is overall pretty organized and easy to configure.
What does it do?
This allows 11 different configurable items to perform a configurable command by right clicking anywhere with the item, such as /mcstats with a bone (352). This can be very useful and increase the overall happiness on any McMMO enabled server.
Commands and Permissions
Command | Function | Permission |
---|---|---|
/rcmmo | Shows the help (Still adding more commands) | rcmmo.help |
/rcmmo reload | Reloads the config.yml | rcmmo.help |
Configuration
Here are 2 little blocks of the config.yml, configuring the command and item ID. For cmd, put in your command, leaving out the forward slash. If there are 2 forward slashes in the command, then include 1 forward slash. Here is an example of the config.yml, with the first option configured to /mcstats and with the item of the ID 352 (bone), and the second option is the default /mcmmo and 406 (nether quartz).
CMD1: cmd: mcstats ITEM1ID: ID: 352 CMD2: cmd: mcmmo ITEM2ID: ID: 406
After editing the config.yml, restart the server or do /rcmmo reload. This will reload the config.yml and apply your changes.
HOW TO INSTALL RCMMO
To install RcMMO, simply download the .jar provided, an drag it into your plugins folder. Reload the plugins or restart the server for the config.yml to be added into your /plugins directory. This will create a folder called RcMMO. Inside the folder is the config.yml.
To-Do
- Adding more commands and options.
- Making the config.yml even more user-friendly
- v2.0 will most likely be out when the next update to Bukkit is released.

I have used many plugins like this one before, but they honestly didn't really work, or they were just overall very confusing to use. This idea was brought up in plugin requests, so I did it. I would want to have a project that would stay up to date on my command, and have control over the thought of knowing that there is going to be a plugin always ready for the next game update!
Weird... But a good concept. However, why a plugin for this? Owners can (already do) use alias' via bukkit or another alias plugin. Seems to me like this is just redundancy. No offense 'Ab'

No, this plugin doesn't require any permissions to use the commands, only to reload the config and do /rcmmo.
does the person using the tool need permissions to use the command?
