Rankup
Version 1.3.2
A simple, lightweight plugin, allowing your players to pay to switch ranks on a pre-determined track. You can configure a different track of ranks by which your players can progress on, and define a price for each rank. This plugin works with any Vault compatible permissions plugin, such as PermissionsEx and GroupManager.
This plugin is dependent upon Vault.
Note: While this plugin has not been updated in a while, it still should work on the latest version of Spigot/Craftbukkit. If it is not working, there is probably a problem with your configuration, or you do not have Vault.

Installation
Download the latest version of the plugin here. Put the file in your server's plugins folder. When you start/reload your server, the configuration file will be created automatically.
Additionally, this plugin requires Vault and an economy and permissions plugin compatible with Vault.
Then, you need to edit the configuration which will be inside your /plugins/rankup/ folder under the name 'config.yml.' Follow the configuration guide to configure the plugin.
Once you have configured the plugin to your liking, type /rankup reload.
Rankup Signs: To create a Rankup sign, simply enter "[Rankup]" ( without the quotes ) on the first line of a sign. Do not add any other text to the sign. When you right click the sign, you will rankup as if you had entered the /rankup command.
Commands
- /rankup - Rank up to the next available rank.
- /rankup version or /rankup v - Check the version of the plugin currently running.
- /rankup reload or /rankup r - Reload the configuration.
Permissions
- rankup.* - Grant all rank up permissions.
- rankup.rankup - Ability to do /rankup ( Not /rankup v or /rankup r, they require seperate permissions)
- rankup.version - Ability to do /rankup version or /rankup v
- rankup.reload - Ability to do /rankup reload or /rankup r
- rankup.sign - Ability to create and remove Rankup signs.

thanks for the help but since i still have not found a solution for why i cant rank up past my first rank i wont be using this plugin sadly :(

I meant a server log of what happens in console when you do the command and the error comes up (What I'm asking would only include the startup log if it had an error on startup, otherwise, no need to copy that part if it enables fine)

Posted Feb 27, 2014The plugin wont let me rankup past 7 ranks it lets me rank all the way up to Gblock and then it wont let me go any further i have tried putting other groups besides Hblock as well it just wont work. Please Help :)

Posted Feb 22, 2014another problem i've run into is that it only does it per world, e.g. you do /rankup in our factions world you will only get your rank in that world, not even the nether or anything just the world you used the command in

Posted Feb 20, 2014When some one does /rankup they go up a rank no problem (from rank "a" to rank "b"). They then do /rankup again and they get a message "you been ranked up to rank b" and they get ranked to b again and get charged. is there any fixes for this or anything im missing? apart from that every thing works PREFECT!

Posted Feb 16, 2014I love how this plugin works but I've been having a problem that makes it unusable for me. When you first join my server, you spawn in a seperate world called tutorial. It teaches you how to play and explains how to rankup. When you right click the sign, you will rank up, but it only adds the rank to that specific world. So when you leave the tutorial world, you're back to the first rank. It's the same if you go into the nether, rank up, then go back to the overworld. Hopefully someone can help?
EDIT: I'm starting to think this is a problem with PermissionsEx. Anyone else running PermissionsEx with this happening...?

Posted Feb 16, 2014This plugin, all of a sudden, has stopped working for me. I get no errors or anything, it just doesn't work right. If a player tries to rankup, it says "[TheirRank] Player has ranked up to TheirCurrentRank" For example "[Guest] Jack has ranked up to Guest!" and they stay Guest, even though they have enough money to rankup to the next rank. I've been using this plugin for months without any problems, just doesn't seem to be working now :P Here is my config http://pastebin.com/CBjHj1kD
