Rankup
Rankup
Version 1.3.2
A simple, lightweight plugin, allowing your players to pay to switch ranks on a pre-determined track. You can configure a different track of ranks by which your players can progress on, and define a price for each rank. This plugin works with any Vault compatible permissions plugin, such as PermissionsEx and GroupManager.
This plugin is dependent upon Vault.
Note: While this plugin has not been updated in a while, it still should work on the latest version of Spigot/Craftbukkit. If it is not working, there is probably a problem with your configuration, or you do not have Vault.

Installation
Download the latest version of the plugin here. Put the file in your server's plugins folder. When you start/reload your server, the configuration file will be created automatically.
Additionally, this plugin requires Vault and an economy and permissions plugin compatible with Vault.
Then, you need to edit the configuration which will be inside your /plugins/rankup/ folder under the name 'config.yml.' Follow the configuration guide to configure the plugin.
Once you have configured the plugin to your liking, type /rankup reload.
Rankup Signs: To create a Rankup sign, simply enter "[Rankup]" ( without the quotes ) on the first line of a sign. Do not add any other text to the sign. When you right click the sign, you will rankup as if you had entered the /rankup command.
Commands
- /rankup - Rank up to the next available rank.
- /rankup version or /rankup v - Check the version of the plugin currently running.
- /rankup reload or /rankup r - Reload the configuration.
Permissions
- rankup.* - Grant all rank up permissions.
- rankup.rankup - Ability to do /rankup ( Not /rankup v or /rankup r, they require seperate permissions)
- rankup.version - Ability to do /rankup version or /rankup v
- rankup.reload - Ability to do /rankup reload or /rankup r
- rankup.sign - Ability to create and remove Rankup signs.

Does this plugin support UUID?
When I type in /rankup I get
An Internal Error Occured while Trying to Attempt this Command
Hey, so the server that I am helping create is based around a simple theme... you choose your own team! I was wondering if this plugin has the feature of being able to pick more than one team, and if you can please elaborate how this is done. If this plugin does not currently have this feature, could you please link me to another plugin where you can choose your own team? My biggest preference would have the ability to just do /Hades and join the Hades team, but that is not mandatory... I just need something along those lines. Thank you for your time and please respond as soon as you can because we have been waiting and looking for something like this!

In my case, the addon doesn't set the group but add it. resulting in player having 10 different groups. Happens even when override group ist set to true Using PEX 1.22.3 UUIDs
Players cannot do /rankup they do not have permission even though I gave them rankup.rankup (I even tested with a player having op and * but it still didn't work). It used to work and one time when I reloaded the server it just randomly stopped working.
@FlaaffyPlaysGC @SgtDan
Did you give them the right perms, and did you put the first rank price to be 0 and are the names of the groups EXACTLY the same in rankup?
It doesn't work, it says "You are not in a group where you can rankup" but I've set it in the config properly.
Fixed that but I still can't rankup it says what asetter's says
Lol I haven't done anything but edit the file to my liking to my rank names. Now it says An internal error occurred while attempting to perform this command whenever I do /rankup
I seem to be having a really annoying problem, up to a point rankup works fine, but then after a certain group when people do rankup it adds people to a sub group. Please help me been trying to figure this out for days! thanks
<<reply 2315609> Did you give the perm to your self rankup.rankup
For some reason it says "You are not allowed to rank up". I really need help, im trying to start up a server... pls help! :?
Could you add a /ranks command to display all ranks along with some fireworks launching upon rank-up?

Same issues
Hey, I was wondering how would you make 2 promotion ladders. I would like to have it so as that donators can keep going with default ranks if this is possible please tell me how
Is there a way to make it so players in groups different than default can use /rankup?
because the only way to rankup is if you are in the default group or the ones that are listed in the rankup config.
For example, if someone was promoted to Moderator. They can no longer rankup because there are not in a group that is listed in the rankup configuration file.
Same here, have all the permissions and nothing works. Is someone going to fix this?
Excactly what I was looking for! Works great! ;)
@xx4g
I am having the same issues

Oh just an update on the rankup bug we were experiencing, it seems to only happen when they hit the T1 ranks: http://pastebin.com/GgGX2v8B Is there a regen letter bug? When they rankup to the first T1, it adds it as a subgroup and not group anymore.
