RandomMobs is an easy-setup, light-weight RandomMobsSSP for Modloader replacement for Spout. It aims to provide a similar functionality as RandomMobs does for anyone using Spout and Spoutcraft.

Requirements
- Spout (b721)

Commands
- /rm - Console/in-game help menu.
- /rm reload - Reloads the configuration file from disk.
Permissions
- rm.* - Access to all permissions (besides opt-out).
- rm.reload - Access to the reload command.
- rm.disable.* - Opt-out permission that disables all skins.
- rm.disable.creaturename - Opt-out permission that disables all skins for the designated creature (ie rm.disable.blaze).
- rm.disable.creaturename.1,2,3 - Opt-out permission that disables all skins for the designated creature and a particular skin number (ie rm.disable.blaze.1 would disable the first listed skin in the config file for the creature blaze).

If you turn off chicken skinning in my config file, it will LITERALLY ignore them (same with if you give someone a opt-out permission). Hope that is what you were looking for.

Custom Creatures? I am assuming you mean custom mobs and entities. This is not yet possible with Spoutcraft's nor Spout's API. When it is, I plan to make a Mo' Creatures type system for Spoutcraft (if you know what that is...if not google is your friend).

hey any thought to talking to the creators of spout materials and see if you guys can come up with a way to do custom creatures rather than just custom skins
Hello ninjazidane (btw ff9 rocks) Is there a way to block spoutcreatures form skinning textures? Our coders want to create a plugin which spawns different kinds of chicken, they should stay the same skin all the time, but not the spoutcreatures skin. Ihope you get waht I mean :)

OMFG! This is awesome! As soon as this work with 1.0.0 I'll start using it since I can't downgrade to 1.8.1.

Yep though it doesn't work for Minecraft 1.0.0 yet as Spoutcraft is broken right now. It should be fixed soon.
The plugin works great on 1.8.1 (as long as you use a dev build for both bukkit and spout and spoutcraft).
So... with this, you can have multiple textures for 1 mob?? :O

Yeah my personal website and wiki and everything else decided to randomly COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY DIE (Evil IIS 7.5...).
I will have it back up later this evening. Thanks for letting me know though.

the error was resolved by installing spoutcreatures 1.0.3!!
