Well, you are right,
/radar on and /radar off are
bad ideas indeed.
But 3 commands,
/radar for switching and
/radaron for activating and
/radaroff for disabling seems
best in my opinion.
lenis and I have been testing out the plugin on my PvP server.
However, we're trying to work out some issues with the plugin bugging out when tons of players are near by. Lenis added a async thread to update the radar, but now there's problems with the removal.
lenis added something cool to it for factions though. :)
It will now show who the enemy is, ally, and normal player.
Red: Enemy
Pink: Ally
Else: White
Green: Own Faction
Hopefully a nice update will come out soon!
Give it time :]
@lenis0012 - Yeah I thought that might have been an issue so I updated to the latest dev build of CraftBukkit: 1.5.1-R0.1 (Build #02732). Still getting the same exceptions though.
Yeah I've tried that, but still nothing. I do get a bunch of severe error messages though.. mainly stuff like
"Task #88 for Radar v2.5 generated an exception
java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: com.bergerkiller.bukkit.common.scoreboards.CommonObjective.createScore(Ljava/lang/String;I)Lcom/bergerkiller/bukkit/..."
I'm not really sure how this works to be honest.. I am running the latest dev build of both Bukkit and BKCommonLib, with this plugin installed but nothing seems to happen. I can use the /radar command and it will display that the radar has been turned ON and OFF, but nothing appears other than that.. :/

If you don't belive me.
Then why dont you install it on a local test werver with BKCommonLib and test it out yourself
Update comming this weekend
EDIT: maybe not :/
I need more time (school and such)
I was referring to what's on the media page: Image
@MCGamer20000
No it is not.
If you now something about the protocol changes in 1.5 you may know that a scoreboard APi has been added.
Wich allows you to create gui's
I know that radar is from a hacked client. I know because I once had that hacked client, but I forgot which one is was.
@ATalkingRock
We are aware of these issues.
There's a problem with radar not showing up when a lot of players are around.
We're also having some issues with the removal.
lenis and I will try to reproduce these issues soon.
Doesnt work for me. Radar just doesnt show up
@lenis0012
We need to work on fixing these issues this weekend if you're available :)
@S1lverK3y
that makes no sense....
And i'd rather have /radar on/off than /radaron and /radaroff
Assding extra commands for pretty much the same thing is not very smart =$

@S1lverK3y
I disagree.
@lenis0012
how about
/radar on or /radaron
/rarar off or /radaroff
commands?
would really be better than an toggle in my opinion :/
@technicaldaniel
Same Problem here using BKCommonLib 1.51 #60 and Craftbukkit 1.5.1- R 0.1 #2735 (Beta Build) :(
@lenis0012
Yep, running DEV Build #54 of BKCommonLib as well, same issue. :/
@technicaldaniel
Install the latest dev buld from BKCommonLib? :3

It only shows something when there are actualy players behind you :P
