QwickTree
QwickTree v 2.2.4
What Is QwickTree?
QwickTree is a permission supporting plugin that will harvest the whole tree when the bottom block it destroyed with specific tools (see the default config)
Features
- Harvests the whole tree when the bottom block of the tree is destroyed with config definable items (stone axes or better, by default);
- Checks within a certain area of the tree for common "house" blocks - so your log cabin can stay standing! Can be changed in the config. NOTE: This will not stop them from destroying the tree, but it will stop the player from harvesting the whole tree.
- Replants Sapling when the tree is chopped down - replants all 4 sapling in large Jungle trees!
- Permissions support. Permissions can also be disabled in the config.
- Now supports protect regions. (Only tested with WorldGuard so far)
- Ability to Disable & Enable the plugin in-game all users, or individual users without needing to reboot the server or mess with permissions.
- Drop vines when they are attached to or near the tree.
- Bottom level of leaves are not destroyed on Jungle trees only.
- Tree Specific drops, e.g. Only Oak Trees drop apples.
- Ability to stop QwickTree from chopping down tree types.
- Damage support for the entire tree - so chopping down a Jungle tree won't act like you only hit one block! All items that take damage will be damaged - even a bow or golden helmet!
- Maximum size limit for a tree. Your sacred 10,000 block tree is safe from vandals.
- Logging in grief-logging plugins - so you can see who chopped down the tree. (Only specific plugins supported so far, see below for details)

@adam_daniels
Thanks for the update adam. I'm sure I speak for all of your users when I say we appreciate the effort and time you have put in so far. I certainly want you to pass your schooling. And I hope you can continue development when your shoolwork gives you a break.
@CommanderGizmo
I've been busy with a lot of school lately, as it's my last year, so I haven't been able to make quick progress with QwickTree, unfortunately.
I'm nearing another release, though I can't give an accurate date for it, after which I may release the code for another developer to continue on. That said, I'm not guaranteeing that I will be releasing or even dropping QwickTree, it's just an idea at the moment.
Is this still in development?
Can u add an option that player needs to chop down 1 wood block several times before whole tree goes down so its not that fast/instant to kill all forest and collect wood.
Ty.
@TheDemonsSoul
Shouldn't be too long, I've almost finished on an update which will add in a few new things. If were to guess, I'd say 1/2 weeks.
Any update on when the new build is going to come out for this mod? Meaning the next update?...Not being able to chop down jungle tree's is frustrating in a sense lol...I guess I have to settle for the other 3 types..or is it four?...I can't remember...either way, let us know please.
Thanks for the note about me at the top! Made my day xD Still using the plugin on my server by the way, it makes for a nice donor perk.
Just thought I'd let you know that I'm having issues with instantly cutting down jungle trees in 1.4.5. All the other trees seem to work though. Also thanks for this really handy mod!
@CBGaming
Yes, that'll be coming along soon
@CommanderGizmo
I'd assume it should, but it tends to be different for each server. I am re-coding parts to make the plugin work better, but that comes at a cost of time - as usual.
I'll keep you posted.
Can anyone advise if this works with CB 1.4.2-R0.1 Beta?
[EDIT] I've had no trouble.
Update to 1.4.2?
@Matakor
This issue will be fixed in the next release.
I'm not sure when that one will come out, I'm expecting after the 1.4 release now, but it could be before - it all depends on my other demands that I have.
Any chance you could add the side-logs?
@CommanderGizmo
Yes, I can certainly add in those options. I feel a new config layout coming in soon. :)
I think it might be nice to compromise on the amount of damage dealt to an axe. For example, it makes sense that chopping a tree only does damage to your axe for the block you actually cut. The rest of the tree fell down on it's own.
On the other hand, chopping the tree into logs probably uses your axe too.
Could you offer a few options for this?
Thanks for the great plugin!
@Aarthek
@lochlain000
Jungle trees currently don't work, and some tools do not receive durability loss.
Both will be fixed in the next release, where I will be fixing the WoolTrees issue too.
I'll be working on a fix for the leafDrops, but that may slip to a later release.
Yeah jungle trees do not chop but they do reduce the durability of an axe like they had but only axe that loses durability is iron, stone and diamond are not affected
got the drops to kind of behave properly with this. It gives reasonable drops when you move the sapling drops out of the leafdrops to the tree.
Leafs still droping way over the percentage configured and now sapplings are dropping like the leafs (on any tree where you define something else to drop, like apple on oak for example".
Normal jungle trees don't chop at all...
@elias1979
It can be configured to drop apples, yes, and is by default set to drop apples for oak trees.
Does it support dropping of apples ?
