It would be great if when a Simple Region Market (SRM) rent timer ran out all QuickShops inside that region would no longer work if that region was not tied directly to the current renter of the region.

The reason for this, is when the rent timer runs out, another player can rent the shop. The new renter can drain the previous owner's bank account by destroying half of the large chest, item-Buying, QuickShop then repair it and resell the items taken from breaking it. Or, by placing a hopper under it to drain and resell the items to and from the chest. Having the QuickShop chests in that SRM region no longer work when the rent timer runs out would prevent this type of abuse; which is very common.
