    Write a book using special formatting codes (http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Book_and_Quill) and then put it for sale in a shop.

    It works great... until a server restart. Then, when you buy the book again, all formatting code is bugged. All accents and specials characters are affected too.

    Have you tried resetting your database, then reselling the book? I think it's got something to do with the charset in the database.
