ProtectionStones
Anti-Griefing at it's Easiest!
Griefing Protection
ProtectionStones allows a player to place a special block, and this protects their area from griefing.
This small plugin was inspired by PreciousStones but only has the property protection blocks. This allows players to place one of three types of ore blocks to protect their property.
The player doesn't require any special permissions, they just need to get one of the three following ore blocks which you can give or sell in game using other plugins:
Coal Ore gives 11x11x11 protection area.
Lapis Ore gives 21x21x21 protection area.
Diamond Ore gives 41x41x41 protection area.
See the Configuration Page if you would like to change the block types, the dimensions or even set the Y-Axis to be from sky to bedrock, set group limiting, etc.
When the player places the block it creates a WorldGuard Region that gives the player ownership of that area and in turn grief protection. If the player breaks the ProtectionStone then they get the stone back and the region is removed from WorldGuard's Region List.
To install simply copy the ProtectionStones.jar file to your plugins folder, no configuration necessary. The following Ore Blocks are supported as the defaults: Coal Ore, Lapis Ore, Diamond Ore.
ProtectionStones Regions
ProtectionStones Creates WorldGuard Regions with the following naming convention:
ps{x-coordinate}x{y-coordinate}y{z-coordinate}z
i.e.
ps279x67y40z
The x, y, and z coordinates are the location of the placed ProtectionStone which is in the center of the WorldGuard Region it creates. If the Region.SKYBEDROCK Setting is set to "true" (see the Configuration Page) then Y-Axis of the ProtectionStone isn't necessarily the vertical center of the region.
Incompatible with PreciousStones
Both plugins act on the same kind of ore blocks and have the same command name of "/ps".
Requires WorldGuard
WorldGuard is used to create and remove regions when the blocks are placed, otherwise ProtectionStones won't do anything (set not to load if WorldGuard isn't found).
Hello, I have a problem. when installed the plugin and entered the server and put the stone protection design me that this command can not be used in this world
@Antal1609
Still trying to update but there are some big changes to WG 6.

Please update to WorldGuard 6.
@jessefjxm
The Bukkit API doesn't allow for metadata selection, it used to allow block numbers but even that is now shunned for block names.
Really nice plugin! Just one simple question, is it possible to define blocks with metadata as ProtectionStone? like grass:3 or sth. else ;)

@drewbzz
Protectionstones ...
@matedgo
you talking about updated version of spigot or stone protect mate ?
You have updated and working version on spigot forum ;)
@drewbzz
That's hilarious, but he said it, and nothing has been posted to deny it. Besides, it takes time to update something like CraftBukkit.
@drewbzz
LMAO :)
@adopted3
mate he said that @ 21 Aug 2014 lol work that one out you been under a rock ?
Bukkit is still going to be updated (see https://twitter.com/Dinnerbone/status/502389963606867968 ). The ProtectionStones plugin won't load with CraftBukkit 1.7.9-R0.3. :-( Hopefully it gets updated soon.
@PhanaticD
Sweet :)
@PhanaticD
Love you!
@PhanaticD
Hi if u do make a plugin like this for 1.8 would u plz add the feature I said in a previous comment plz look at it I think people would love it tell me if any problems Thx
Hello could you tell me what u think of this a feature for people who want to have a block that can not be got in survival as a protection stone this mean for those people because of 1.8 ender portal pieces are the only thing that they can use so they can't have several different protection sizes so I thought about this and maybe if it's not too much trouble you could add a feature where the owner of the protection stone can look at it and type a command like /ps set x20 z20 that would make it so people can have big claims and for towns with plots they can have small protections the admin of the server could set a max size so someone couldn't do /ps set x10000000 z1000000 I think this would work tell me if u can or can't thank you :)
@AxelDios
As you can see, the Spigot folks released a Bukkit/CraftBukkit for 1.8. Also, BukkitDev is accepting 1.8 plugins. See http://forums.bukkit.org/threads/will-you-allow-1-8-plugins-now.325627/
@PhanaticD
That'd be awesome ^^
