ProtectionStones
Anti-Griefing at it's Easiest!
Griefing Protection
ProtectionStones allows a player to place a special block, and this protects their area from griefing.
This small plugin was inspired by PreciousStones but only has the property protection blocks. This allows players to place one of three types of ore blocks to protect their property.
The player doesn't require any special permissions, they just need to get one of the three following ore blocks which you can give or sell in game using other plugins:
Coal Ore gives 11x11x11 protection area.
Lapis Ore gives 21x21x21 protection area.
Diamond Ore gives 41x41x41 protection area.
See the Configuration Page if you would like to change the block types, the dimensions or even set the Y-Axis to be from sky to bedrock, set group limiting, etc.
When the player places the block it creates a WorldGuard Region that gives the player ownership of that area and in turn grief protection. If the player breaks the ProtectionStone then they get the stone back and the region is removed from WorldGuard's Region List.
To install simply copy the ProtectionStones.jar file to your plugins folder, no configuration necessary. The following Ore Blocks are supported as the defaults: Coal Ore, Lapis Ore, Diamond Ore.
ProtectionStones Regions
ProtectionStones Creates WorldGuard Regions with the following naming convention:
ps{x-coordinate}x{y-coordinate}y{z-coordinate}z
i.e.
ps279x67y40z
The x, y, and z coordinates are the location of the placed ProtectionStone which is in the center of the WorldGuard Region it creates. If the Region.SKYBEDROCK Setting is set to "true" (see the Configuration Page) then Y-Axis of the ProtectionStone isn't necessarily the vertical center of the region.
Incompatible with PreciousStones
Both plugins act on the same kind of ore blocks and have the same command name of "/ps".
Requires WorldGuard
WorldGuard is used to create and remove regions when the blocks are placed, otherwise ProtectionStones won't do anything (set not to load if WorldGuard isn't found).
I have a question, Some players with the new feature of mojang changed their names and now they can not break on the previous regions because of that. Help please?
Few questions if I may...
and yes I already tried the version from the spigot branch, as well as the latest dev branch.
Players cannot "use" in their own region, and they cannot change the flag to even allow it.
major error please fix asap: http://pastebin.com/dGA0xnL3
using worldguard http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/worldguard/files/45-world-guard-6-0-beta-5/
and spigot 1.8

Esta Guay mu esencial en un servidor !
@AxelDios
Oh, I see that WorldGuard has a Spigot branch here:
http://builds.enginehub.org/job/worldguard?branch=versions%2Fspigot1.8-6.x
And then there's the master branch here:
http://builds.enginehub.org/job/worldguard?branch=master&page=1
I tried #1510 on the Spigot branch and it works fine.
I'm here to report a bug. When someone from my server breaks a redstone ore not recover the ore, it becomes redstone dust.
I have configured for either protection Redstone ore, Coal, Diamond and Iron. All other if they can recover.
@hutt132
Both the region removal problems and the flag setting problems are a direct WorldGuard problem, in most cases if you try to set the flags or remove the region directly from WG (using the region command) you also have problems, if you are using Spigot, they have their own build of WG on the Spigot Page, try installing that version.
@iMaartennn
Try setting a flag. It doesn't work, as I previously posted.
@AngelgtcraftBukkitMinecarft
Works perfectly fine with the latest worldgaurd!
@Kalloskyr
happens to me the same
When players are removing the protectionstones, the region is still there, meaning they are able to claim as much land as they want.
when i break the ProtectionStone the protection already is help me please
Setting flags does not work. Throws this error: http://pastebin.com/5TUwbwiz
Using version 1.9j and WorldGuard #1570.
I'm getting an error when trying to set flags ( http://pastebin.com/LiKmi9n0 ). Any ideas?
@NLHoutblok
Can't you just edit the config.yml to "Flags: - use allow" and get existing players to do "/ps flag use allow"?
@AxelDios
There is a problem when using worldguard 6.0 with protection ores. Once a player protects something they can't use anything such as crafting tables and doors. This is because of when you create a new region with worldguard 6.0 the new flag "Interaction" will be set to deny as default which means players can't use something. So when creating a new region with the protectionstone you have to do "Interact"' to allow by default. Also the permission protectionstones.flag.interaction does not exist yet. Can you please fix it? Thx!
it work well with 1.8 spigot???
@M4lcom89
You have two choices, if your permissions plugs supports removing permissions (like PermissionsEx) then you can do that in your permissions file, for example:
If your permissions program doesn't support removing permissions you can open the ProtectionStones.jar file with an archive program like 7zip. And edit the plugin.yml file, change the flags you need from true to either false or op. Then save the file, upload it to your server, reload your plugins or restart your server.
All the current flags support are in the plugin.yml file inside the ProtectionStones.jar file, and also on the Permissions Page.
@XtrmeePlaya
All flags are WorldGuard Flags, and I try to add any new ones as soon as I can.
