Plugin Control

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of Minecraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

Welcome to the plugin: Plugin Control <big> What Does this plugin do? </big>
This plugin allows for staff in game to enable and disable plugins with a simple command. <big>Why would I use this as a developer? </big>
If, perhaps, you are a developer yourself, and you are testing plugins, this allows you to disable faulty plugins that may have gone wrong in testing. <big>Why would I use this as a server admin? </big>
1. If you are a server admin with many plugins, you can use this plugin to disable plugins in order to find what plugins are conflicting.
2. Have you ever put a plugin on that is causing a major issue and you need it gone in a split second? just disable it with this plugin.
3. If you own a big server and have a plugin you want to take off without restarting the server, just disable it and then go to the console and remove it! On the next restart the plugin will be gone for good, but no need to restart right away because the plugin is disabled!
4. Need to hire a developer but you are afraid of there being malicious code in their plugin? Have Plugin Control handy so you can disable their plugin if anything goes wrong!
5. Do you simply need a plugin to not be active at the moment? Just disable it! <big>How does this plugin work?</big>
This plugin uses 2 commands:
/Enable (pluginName) - PluginControl.enable
/Disable (pluginName) - PluginControl.disable
This plugin simply allows you to disable and reenable plugins in game.
Note: The plugins are re-enabled when the server is reloaded or restarted so for a permanent disable, just remove the plugin in the plugin folder.
Note: Plugin names are case-sensitive. Use /plugins to check the exact name. <big>A tip for a permanent disable:</big>
If you want to permanently disable a plugin, use /disable (pluginName) so that it is disabled for the moment. Log into your server's console and find the "plugins" folder, delete the pluginName.jar so that on the next reload / restart the plugin is permanently gone. Remember, there is no mandatory reload or restart because the plugin is disabled! <big>Licensing</big>
The code is open source, feel free to edit it as much as you want and integrate it into your own plugin. Re-uploading to Bukkit is not allowed.
