PistonsPlus
PistonsPlus - Make Obsidian & Bedrock Movable!!
Version Info
Version: 1.0
Compiled Against: CraftBukkit 2060 (Minecraft 1.2.3)!!
- (currently works with 1.2.5)
What Is PistonPlus?
Pistons plus allows you to make blocks that normally cant be moved by Pistons movable. You cannot move more than one block of any custom block, this plugin DOES NOT make unmovable blocks behave like normal movable blocks. You can define whatever blocks you want to be movable in the config file, see Configuration for more info.
How Do I Install PistonsPlus?
To install simply download the jar file and place it in you bukkit plugins directory! (bukkit_server/plugins)
Configuration
After running PistonsPlus for the very first time a folder called PistonsPlus containing a config.yml is created. Inside there is but one line:
AllowedBlocks: 49,7
You can add any block you like by simply adding a comma to the end and then adding the block's data value. You can find a list of all data values here.
WARNING! You MUST have more than one data value in the file or you will get a NPE (Null Pointer Error)!!! The simple solution if you REALLY must have only one value just add the data value of a block that can already be pushed (ex. 5).
Commands
PistonsPlus has only one command:
/pistonreload - Reloads the PistonsPlus config file.
Features:
- Push normally non-movable blocks with a Normal and Sticky Piston
- Pull normally non-movable blocks back with a Sticky Piston
Does PistonsPlus Support Permissions?
No. It is almost IMPOSSIBLE to determine who powered Redstone as a pig could walk onto a pressure plate and set it off. That therefore makes adding any form of permissions impossible!

You can download PistonsPlus here.
The source code is available on my GitHub here.
Don't works for 1.2.4 or bukkit 1.1
@jo2000
Should work for 1.1
hi can you make this 1.1 thank you if you do.
https://github.com/colony88/PistonsPlus/tree/master/src
I'll post the source code :)
Hey could you update to your v1.0 source on github? I'd like to take a look at it
Hi I'm going to Florida for a week and a half I'll be back April 8th Cya
More pistons looks ok, but client side mods etc are a pita for my players. Before pistons hit official, there were tons of mods that acted like pistons, just w/o the piston plunger animation and they worked fine. You could adjust the height on them.
@nicnick95
i mean like win you push a block in to a chest it will go in it
i wode like the water one better thow
its so i can make stone gen
@WolfyRetroKnight
what do u mean by push in to chest do u mean like the pistons put the blocks into chests? Or pistons push chests? And i don't think the second one can work (with the exception of sand or gravel) for example the bedrock or obsidian is acting as stone and if you push stone with a piston over water it stays floating. but ill look into it for you
can you add a way to push blocks in to chest or make it so win you push it over water it drops the block
@colony88
minecraft updated
@nicnick95
What do you mean?
not another update :/
@jmartin657
I think you have the same problem as I just had. You have to insert the redstone power into the back of the piston. Also the power HAS TO come trough redstone wire. I hope this helped. :p
@jmartin657
I'll check it!
@tek2974
There is a mod called "More Pistons", which adds more piston possibilities, but it's for a vanilla server and I guess you'll have to install the client mod too. I have no idea if this is even possible with bukkit.
Am I the only one who cant get this plugin to work? :( Version 1.0 of this plugin on a Bukkit-1.2.3-R0.2 server
Is there any way to make it control how far a piston pushes something? Say I want to program a sticky piston to move something 3 blocks at once instead of just 1.
im SO out of this project :) have fun all involved! i mite throw some code ur way in the future but for now tis alllllllll urs :P
